A3N 1002
Which means that they have dropped Doug Paul after all these years. Heard the new V.O. during the 11pm news [st]and it sounds like the voiceover for KNBC[/st]. Well see what happens, as this looks like a sign of changes to come... Visiting VO 0
Not sure who that is, but it is definitely not the voice of KNBC. That much I am certain of. That much I am certain of.[/quote'] Yeah, you're right, its not KNBC's voiceover. [st]I think that it's one of those stupid text to speech voices based on how it says 7/39 news at Eleven all fast[/st]. Shame that Doug Paul is getting replaced by some software. Edit: Here is the video. The first part is the open featuring the new voicebox and the second half is the close, with Doug Paul... SFTV 526
Jeff McNeal is the guy who does KNBC. Ah, John Pleisse. That's how you spell his last name. He also does a voice over here at the local radio station I used to intern at but never asked the DJ how to spell his last name. A3N 1002
KNSD debuted its re-branded 4pm newscast Wednesday with San Diego News Now. Along with the debut came, a different cut of the NBC collection, a different variation of the NBC O&O graphics, with orange/yellow L3's and a more simplified open. Here is the video of the 4pm and 5pm opens, and I must say that the voiceover sounds much better here than in the other open...
