PelicanGuy 117
It took several weeks, but WWL's set transition is pretty much complete. The main set looks very much like its newscasts' opening credits before the teases start AND its new graphics. Looks nice. Now they just need to replace the set used by Rob Nelson when he gives the news on the morning show. Oliverolang 41
The set would look a lot better if they got rid of those ugly wood newsdesks. Link to comment https://localnewstalk.net/topic/5025-wwl-set-transition-nearly-done/#findComment-47166 Share on other sites
WXmanTim 88
Is WWL still planning to build a new studio on the plot of land they bought in the CBD before Katrina? Newscast has been number one for 30-ish years. If it aint broke... newsguy22 59
And this matters why? I would rather watch the old-timers than the dumb blonde (for journalistic reasons) Agreed. Of course, I may be biased. I grew up watching them. The whole trust factor is a big thing, especially in New Orleans. (Ask Mike Ross at KTUU, if you ever see him, he worked with us at WWL for years).
