Cindy Hsu was hosting this morning, along with Ross Palombo who has been working as a reporter for CBS 2 for over a month. He previously worked for CBS News on Logo. Mary was probably just off on vacation because she has been working a lot lately filling-in for Kate Sullivan and working her normal weekend schedule.

Mary was also back yesterday for her normal 6 and 11pm slot. One thing I noticed was that yesterday morning, Ross said that he was "in for Mary Calvi." This morning, however, Ross did not say he was "in for Cindy Hsu." Do you think he is the new co-anchor of the weekend morning newscast?

If he was the new co-anchor for the weekend mornings, then on Saturday, he wouldn't have said "in for Mary Calvi," and instead Cindy would have said she's in for Mary. It seems that Mary is the permanent weekend morning anchor and the other person is just filling in for the vacant seat, with Cindy Hsu being the one that fills in the most.

I dunno... well, his expressions sometimes... I think that's it. That, and a little bit too much inflection in his voice perhaps? Buuut, like I said, I really think he's good enough for the job here in NY.

I am certainly not the only person who knows what you're trying to pull with your thinly (and not-so-thinly) veiled comments towards others so please spare me the "card" games and the fake naiveté. You've got some ax to grind.... I've made plenty of posts here in the past... then you start accusing me of being a gay basher just because I took the side of WPLG in the Perez case? I make an observation about Ross, the "new guy" in town... and I'm sure there are plenty here who will agree that he's very animated with his tone and expressions at times, and you again, take that as some sort of undertone for a hatred of gays... you're off your rocker. If I had a problem with someone being gay, I'd flat out say it, but that couldn't be farther from the truth... so don't accuse me of being something I'm not. First off, I guarantee I have more gay friends than you. Secondly, just because I'm not a member of your "closet" group - how do you know I'm not gay? I'd be willing to bet that 90% of the members on this board are... You're the one who's attacking people... not me. Just because you're a disgruntled ass, don't pick your bone with me.
