jestbiteme 13 Posted February 22, 2007 Posted February 22, 2007 No female anchor's voice has ever clicked with me as much as former WTSPer Sue Zelenko's. She's smooth, calm and powerful. A close runner-up is KDKA morning and noon anchor Sonni Abatta, although she still lets a little of that unnecessary urgency creep into her voice from time to time. Keith Jones is also at the top of my list.
roscoryan 21 Posted February 22, 2007 Posted February 22, 2007 Paul Magers (KCBS, I remember him from his days at KARE)
A3N 1002 Posted February 22, 2007 Posted February 22, 2007 Marty Levin, Susan Taylor, Catherine Garcia, KNSD Brian Christie and Estha Trouw, XETV Hal Fishman, KTLA Not Vic? Vic is ok but not great. He is a little stiff and needs to be a little more loose/relaxed

nigelbruce 0 Posted February 22, 2007 Posted February 22, 2007 In Phila: Ukee Washington, of course. Also his partner on the KYW noon news, Pat Ciarrocchi. Two awesome pros. Friendly, but not silly fools. Authoritative. Hometowners. Jim Gardner on WPVI, market leader, is certainly no slouch. Phila Hall Of Fame (voice quality): Vince Leonard, Mort Crim, John Facenda, Jack Jones, Diane Allen.
ncsuwxman 6 Posted February 23, 2007 Posted February 23, 2007 For Raleigh: There are several with good voices, but the best are no longer on the air... Bob Vernon (former WLFL anchor, who recently showed up on a car dealership commercial) Bob DeBardelaben (former WRAL weather anchor)
