They never changed it when they released Ron Rolland as their longtime VO. And that's all that's left of him on WLS. So shh! I don't think he's the wiser. Maybe the station is keeping him on for some stuff, until they make a final decision. You sure that's not Roger Thompson you're talking about who still does work from time to time for WLS? When Roger uses his "deep" voice, he does sound alot like Ron Rolland. As far as I know, WLS has completed its deal with Ron Rolland and hasn't used him since except for stuff that he recorded back when he was still under contract with WLS.. Update: If you go to Roger Thompson's website, http://www.rogervoiceguy.com, and go to the demo page, you'll find video of some of his more recent promos for WLS. It's neither Rose or Rolland, but it sounded alot like the Inside Edition announcer (a promo for IE appeared right after). If anyone knows, it would be nice to know.
