  2. Here is a "Good Question" - or two - for Nicole Brewer: Why does everyone we like choose to leave KYW? Why does KYW get rid of everyone else we like? Ok - one more - What is the current over/under on how long Brien Kennedy will last?

  4. Can we please get this back at 6pm please (with the theme music http://www.networknewsmusic.com/wp/the-news-with-brian-williams-msnbc-theme/ )? Brian Williams (along with Chuck Todd, Kate Snow, Andrea Mitchell, Thomas Roberts) has made watching MSNBC tolerable again.

  6. UPDATE: Dish is now suing NBCUniversal since them pulling their channels would violate a prior agreement and condition of the Comcast/NBCU merger http://deadline.com/2016/03/dish-network-sues-nbcuniversal-blackout-breach-of-contract-1201720831/

  7. It would still be better than that little talk show melody they run for the talent rejoin at 11.

  8. Raise up what? Just because Scripps does poorly overall doesn't mean it can't have ABC stations that do well... I'm sure not every one of Hearst's ABC stations is a market leader either, and Scripps and Hearst own nearly the same amount of ABC stations...

  10. Just wanted to point out there was an interesting tidbit buried at the end of a NY post article about msnbc executives.... http://nypost.com/2016/03/15/msnbc-shuffling-execs-in-another-bid-to-fix-lousy-ratings/ At the end it says how msnbc made an offer to Keith Olbermann back I December but he turned it down because the money wasn't enough and they are still trying to work something out...

  12. I've seen ads on both KTVW and KTAZ claiming ratings victories, but nothing on other stations (I don't pay attention to KTVK or KPHO, by the way, but KPHO seems to claim they're the "most watched station" from sign-on to sign-off). If the reports are correct, I don't think KPNX wins any time slot these days. Fifteen years ago, it wasn't uncommon for them to flaunt their ratings dominance in press releases.

  14. WKBN started the first 530pm newscast in early 90s. In 1998 they move to 5pm. WYTV added 5pm newscast in early 2000s displacing Judge Judy over to WFMJ. You are correct WFMJ has never had a 5pm newscast. They carried Maury at 5pm when it first debuted in 1992 then Oprah was on at 4pm. Then not sure what year they flipped it around.

  15. Ignite isn't a very good system... Errors are way up and they are usually bizarre "how is that possible?!?!" Errors.
