I think Chris Jansing was just set up to anchor because of what was going on in Belgium last week. On Tuesday the dayside anchors were Steve Kornacki @ 9 AM, Jose Diaz-Balart @ 10 AM, Tamron Hall @ 11 AM, Andrea Mitchell @ 12 PM, Craig Melvin @ 1 PM, Thomas Roberts @ 2 PM, Kate Snow @ 3PM and finally Erica Hill at 4 PM. Before last week when coverage was preempted due to broadcasts from Brussels the line up was similar - I believe they had Steve Kornacki do an afternoon shift along with Ari Melber at 3 or 4 PM.

Honestly i think in some ways CBS 46 is better than even WAGA Fox 5, Mainly in the Mornings and Noon. Solid and Consistent in their Presentation. Good God, Cant even watch GoodDay Atlanta Anymore, SO Disorganized!!! CBS 46's Problem is their Program Lineup is Horrible!! Their Syndication Lineup consists of; The 700 Club at 9:00 A.M. Locally Produced Atlanta Plugged-In at 12:30 p.m. Infomercials from 1:00-1:30 p.m. and Inside Edition and The Insider from 7:00-8:00 p.m.

I don't care about it but my biggest complaint about the package is that the line that divides two lines of text on the lower third is still visible when the story title is double height.

I think what pisses me off the most is people throwing down any opinions or ideas I have all the while being so sure of theirs. I respect everyone's opinions here but people also need to respect mine.

Keith Olbermann he wants to be back at MSNBC so bad he can taste it. Move Chris Matthews at 6pm followed by Chris Hayes at 7PM and Olbermann right at 8PM, Maddow and Lawrence. Halperin & Heiliemann should just stick with being on Morning Joe.

It's WordPress, and not even the VIP version most broadcasters who use WordPress use. It's the standard free WordPress.org. I will say whoever did the layout though also branded the backend, which means that Morris hired a designer who knows what they're doing.

I was noticing the same thing. I can't say I'm a fan either. Too much movement for an evening newscast, and the font for the headline (as well as the red color) doesn't match the font or colors used elsewhere in the package.

Slightly new graphics for Nightly. Lower thirds are touched up and feature a larger font size. They also now stay on the lower third of the screen throughout the entire story; they don't dissolve away (not a fan). The peacock also now only says NBC NEWS underneath it instead of the website and like TODAY and MTP it flips between that and the show logo. Looking online, these new changes debuted yesterday. Brown and Bloom were not co-anchors together. When David died his co-anchor was Soledad O'Brien. Katie and Matt joined her for a special edition of Weekend Today celebrating David. Several months later Soledad went over to CNN and Campbell Brown and Lester Holt joined Weekend Today together.

There's no need to do that. There's a reason why the hired Shirleen and put her on at noon when they could have given Diana the noon show. Diana will most likely retire in the next few years and it will be a lot less trouble to have Shirleen assume the 5pm newscast.

It seems like WABC is trying to get more exposure for Shirleen than anything else.
