  2. Just caught the replay...They haven't missed a beat. There's a genuine trust and respect (chemistry if you will) between these two that remains, in my eyes, unmatched by anyone else in this market. I hope to see (in some compacity) these two together again.

  3. This bundle of ABC and WSAV stuff from February 1985 (from WSAV's three-year stint with ABC) includes a news brief using And You (cued to start with the news brief). This theme was ditched when they went back to NBC that fall: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=id=OdNzKiC-I7k;t=539 A WSAV newscast (partial) from 1991: And a WJCL open from 1987:

  6. Plus, right now he's also busy taping a summer revival of The $100,000 Pyramid for ABC- that's even more, so he's gotta drop something if he wants a remotely workable schedule.

  7. No one is "taking Michael off of LIVE." The reports seem to indicate that this is his choice to leave LIVE. My guess is ABC probably offered him a big payroll increase to come to GMA full time. Keep in mind that LIVE is not an ABC show. Although it airs on primarily ABC stations, it is actually produced by WABC and distributed by Disney-ABC Domestic Television -- in other words, it is a syndicated show.

  8. They just restocked their Sunday/Monday panel, so I don't see that happening anytime soon, if at all. Still, an interesting development.

  9. That an effort to maintain locally-produced programming be damned so we can have yet another hour of news in an already-crowded time slot...a shift that would possibly be an "exclusive" on a certain website.

  11. What would be the point of using the KYW signature when they brand as CBS3?

  12. Never thought I'd see the day but with the debut of 3's new morning team they redid the morning open which includes a custom KYW signature'd cut of Enforcer:
