I remembered hearing that at the end of the Dolphin demos (where they had brief clips of their work). Just curious now as to how far back that theme's usage on WKRC went (the Dolphin reel in question was labeled as 1977; and based on a comment in a 1978 demo reel Image West swallowed Dolphin up sometime in late 1978).1 point

The signature at 0:13/the end is the same as the KTVW/WWLP package!! I bet that the KTVW set (from the "barrel roll" open) is a "News 80s v2". BTW, I do not believe KTVW would have commissioned a package. If anything they were kinda cheap.1 point

I'll add to the choir and agree that Candace seemed to fit in well. Unlike Paula, she was able to be outspoken in her conservative viewpoints, and she did so without being obnoxious. Moreover, Whoopi actually seemed to like her and respect her quite a bit.1 point

KYW and all the others have made it super easy and convenient to stalk reporters via social media. "If you are dressed like that then you are asking for it" If TV stations keep pushing employees to play this crazy social media game then someone IS gonna get hurt or killed.1 point
