  1. I'm gonna try to be gentle here... 1) You could use a copy editor 2) You made several assertions in your article that don't make any sense especially when it comes to the relation of ratings to the length of time a program has aired in a time slot. It doesn't matter if 9's newscast started in 1980 and 32's in 1987 or whatever... There are several FOX O&O's making significant inroads against or beating stations established 30 or 40 years before they were. 32 suffers from horrible instability and mismanagement that is chronic and has been for several years. The place has never been quite right. 3) At least you're trying. Take this constructively please.

  2. According to Tvspy, Chris Flanagan is moving to Boston to become the weekend evening co-anchor at WFXT. This makes way for Rob Powers to transition as the new anchor. Chris starts in September in Bean town.

  3. Well one famous New Yorker person disagree with Harmon's theory, Don Paul. Yes, . Funny, they have a sports anchor who works mornings and Sundays who also does the Sunday sports show. They have a Saturday sports anchor, and they don't have a weekday sports anchor in busy sports market on a station that airs the World Series annually and the Super Bowl every three years?

  7. Here's 2 very rare clips from WXTV when their newscast was called "Reporter 41" sometime in the mid 80s or so. No news opens, sorry. Another one from the late 80s: Hold on, I'm not done yet, I also found rare stuff from WNJU from their 1989 news magazine program, "Primera Plana". Contains station ID, and a promo for "Informador 47" and "Noticiero Telemundo CNN". https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=id=N1Tw2-ej1M4;t=38 Here's an even older promo of Informador 47 circa 1987 via RetroJunk. (If anyone happen to know the original YT video(s) that contain it, let me know. http://www.retrojunk.com/commercial/show/29925/wnjutv-informador-47-promo-in-la-mejor-y-la-mzas

  8. Harmon is ruining the station. Garuntee they are in last place by the end of the summer (with the exception of Good Day NY) and even Greg and Rosanna are starting to annoy me, once in a while a skit is ok but not everyday. They need to reevaluate everything at the station and then they can give us quality product

  10. ...and when asked about the sudden addition of a 5pm show, the WFLD news Director told this reporter. "I thought we were using a condom...my apologies ." Like we say about the lady with 12 kids down the street... "It's just one more thing for us to mess up". Godspeed WFLD
