Tail end of a WLKY open I've never seen before... 1997 Speaking of WLKY, I have been searching for a newscast during their Gannett era. The closest I could find was this vintage clip from former anchor Liz Everman's Facebook. It's from August 1980, but they haven't implemented the new Gannett colors yet.4 points

Now that's good stuff. Really really good stuff. The first 6 minutes is packed full of stuff I've never seen. Old stuff, KGSW Albuquerque (!!!!!), KNBN's callsign change to KRLD-TV (!!!!!) and their mid-80s news open with Newschannel, etc. Most of the back half is station IDs and promos, as well as a set of test patterns dating at least to the late 70s.2 points

That seems about right. WGN's 5,6 and 9 pm newscasts are an hour long each right? 3 1/2 hours of news has to be exhausting.1 point
