I would not be shocked to see Inside Edition switch stations at this point, probably to WHDH as they could slot that at 7:30 while airing Extra solely at 11:30.

Second time too. The first time was launched early in 2016 but swapped timeslots with Inside Edition later that year because of "poor ratings" at the time.

If affiliates wanted to program an extra hour in the morning that badly, the 4th hour of Today wouldn't exist or it would be optional. I'm not sure why people on here think the affiliates want an extra hour of time to fill in the mornings. They don't. That hour has always belonged to the network. Before the 4th hour of Today, it was the Soap Opera "Passions". Believe me, the network wouldn't have decided on this without input from the Affiliates. Input that went "No, please fill that for us, we don't want to fill it ourselves."

It was a nice gesture full of good intention. You get offended too easy... Go sniff some pretty flowers and turn-off the cable tv politics....try a nice hot bath...or a drive thru the country on this nice fall day. Or try some K-Pop for about 20mins a day...it's fun, and free of politics...and you don't even have to understand Korean to enjoy it. Or you might want to connect with " a higher power". Chillax!

40 years... that’s amazing. My congratulations to her! That type of longevity in local news is becoming increasingly rare, especially in a major market such as Dallas. Best wishes to Clarice!

CBS replacing Scott Pelley with Jeff Glor is a prime example as to why replacing Holt would be a bad move. Outside of bringing back Williams, there really isn't anyone that would be a compelling draw.
