  1. MyNetwork is essentially a brand for an independent station with some syndicated repeats in prime time. Sinclair has mostly kept the branding intact, aside from WPNT (22 The Point) in Pittsburgh. They serve as duopoly partners to their primary stations in markets such as Pensacola, Asheville, and with the Allbritton merger, serve as the host station in Birmingham (hosting a full powered feed of 33/40) and Charleston (WMMP becoming the new WCIV, with the old "WCIV" on the .2) Other places like Norfolk, it's just a standalone station that bet against Fox years ago, and is a subchannel in others like Columbus, Chattanooga, and have taken over the primary stick of WRGT after the former "Fox 45" moved to WKEF. While some have a strong lineup in their own right, many are just pass-through operations for ThisTV or other networks during the day aside from MNTV programming, especially the subchannels.

  3. I'm sure you can buy a champagne and celebrate the failure that is NewsNation. You're free to gloat.

  4. It should be fairly easy for them to just program in a slight vertical squeeze, a vertical shift up, or a combination of both for the Bally Sports feeds to get them to fit in above the ticker. They'll fix it, they probably just didn't get a heads-up on the graphics redesign to know that they'd have to do that.

  6. I am. And of course, as y'all know, YouTube not only took down that channel for three strikes but decided to make me as miserable as possible, yanking the rest of my channels the night after that. So everything is up to Archive, until I get the appeal verdict back on channels '3' and '4'...the only two that can be saved as the original VHSgoodies is gone for good. The Jenny Jones clips were on channel '3' IIRC. The 1992 episode came from KIVI Boise, and I had some '93 clips from KNDO...

  7. $20 says it's laying the groundwork for April 1st. It's helps that he's off this week, and doesn't have to be seen each morning to confirm whether this is for real or not.

  8. ABC News plucks local anchors to fill in very frequently. Not one has moved there permanently, yet, that made one of these appearances.
