I doubt this was part of ABC's standard testing program. More than likely the Secret Service administered tests to anyone that would come in close contact with the VP. Those tests would have been administered as close to airtime as possible.1 point

Dan Harris signed off from GMA and ABC News for the final time this morning. He’ll be sorely missed! Any bets on who will move into his spot? I feel like Phil Lipof makes sense to at least get a shot but could also see names like Will Reeve, Janai Norman and Matt Barrie of ESPN getting additional shots at filling in.1 point

Part of me thinks this was Betty's choice to request a move to 4:30AM. My overall evaluation with John and Betty in the morning is very good. They both have good chemistry. Now the question is will another change happen if this pairing doesn't work? Dan and Hazel was also very good this past week. I wish both early AM shows a success.1 point

Looks like the Tegna change train is coming to WZDX in Huntsville on Monday as well. Gone is the WZDX Fox Nexstar era branding and logo. The new look will bring a return to Fox 54 brand, complete with the same 5 from WOI. The weather team posted on social media saying the new brand and full Tegna look will occur on Monday, Sept. 27th.
