RE OPRAH...I would download it soon, 90% chance a strike is a'comin from Harpo. Anyways, I was able to find the first 2-3 minutes of a WGN Bozo Show from 1994 recently. It's just the opening greeting and the start of a skit...no 'grand prize game', no bucket #6. Not easy to find these! It would have been just months before WGN pulled the plug on morning cartoons and moved Bozo to Sundays. https://archive.org/details/capture-a-4676

Wouldn't mind this at all. So longs as the agenda pushing is absent or kept at a minimum and politics aren't the only focus. I really wish we could get more international coverage from the American networks here in the states, especially on these 24/7 cable channels. Forgiving that stain on his career, this wouldn't be half bad at all. CBS needs outside talent for a big name lead anchor.

I could see Katie Couric in a Larry King type of role in the 9pm hour. I could also see Bill Weir take over the 10pm hour with a Nightline type of show. And a news wrap up show at 11pm, kind of like they had with Aaron Brown. 9pm: Katie Couric Tonight/Live 10pm: Lateline with Bill Weir 11pm: Newsnight with Aaron Brown

They tried Piers Morgan and it flopped. Joy Behar was on HLN with a similar show and it wasn’t a success either. What host would succeed?

Noticed this on KITV's updated website today. WEWS called. They want their logo back. Haha. Also to keep it with the thread, new abc logo added for tax.

I am sad, I will miss seeing Brian every night. Growing up I never missed Nightly, Brian was my hero and why I got into news. I’m excited to see what his next adventure is, Brian certainly proved that any kid can make it to that anchor desk.
