Yes, yes, because THAT'S the stations' problems. Not the decades of mismanagement, budget cuts, and subsequent poor ratings. Really, most here need to get a grip. I don't want to say that CBS Local is a downgrade from modern Enforcer (though I think it is), but it DEFINITELY wouldn't be some magical problem-solver, either. More than just about any cosmetic adjustment we've ever discussed here, such a theme change across the board might be the most unnoticeable of all time, to the average viewer. Hell, I have no problem saying that neither Gari nor Stephen Arnold have produced the best adaptations of the WBBM signature. They just happened to be the powerhouse music companies of their eras, therefore most accessible for the average client.

That's the graphic when you press it to get to the on demand video. The station has yet to debut the graphics on air.

Los Angeles became the largest TV market to air an ATSC 3 signal. KTTV (RF 11) is the host station, carrying Fox 11, KCOP 13 & KTLA 5 main channels. KTTV's ATSC1 simulcast is on KTLA's RF 35 stick, while the subchannels (11.2-4) are on KCOP's RF 13 stick.

That looks so generic that if feels like a 12 year-old Logopedia contributor made it for one of those fake TV station wikis in honor of the TV station serving their SimCity. Alas...it is real.

Living in the market, it was only a matter of time, and sorry that I don't keep up on the Speculatron as much as I should... My pipe theory was that it would be Nexstar (who has CBS for the state outside of Fargo) who would then do an affiliation swap to get CBS from Gray (Who has Fox for ND outside of Fargo). It is unfortunate that there will only be two broadcast TV Voices in the market going forward, but in their presser, local ownership was a driving factor... Which can be appreciated, right?

Yes. WREG and WATE were the first two stations to roll out the new website format. I believe @KentBrockman made a mention of this over on Discord a while back.

Apparently, Jim Gardner will have been there for the balance of that half-century of MCTYW, the way I understand this.

I'm also getting sick of the ranting and slander on this thread. It is making the posts unattractive.

Philly and America's longest-running local news theme (and a record shattering one) Move Closer to Your World will turn 50 next year. That's the same year that Gardner will leave 6ABC.

Off to a great start

They pulled Glor too soon. They did him dirty. Now with him and his co-anchors being number one on Saturdays has to make management rethink the decision they made that screwed him.

It's not a complete overhaul. Non-news junkies wouldn't immediately notice a difference. It's just an evolved look for some various graphic elements. I've already seen some of the "updated" look on KGW.

Most of the Pulitzer-owned stations used jcbD Design for their news graphics as mentioned earlier (KOAT, WYFF, KCCI, WDSU, WXII, WGAL etc...). By 1998, all of Pulitzer's stations & properties were bought and sold to Hearst-Argyle Television (then owners of WCVB, WISN, WTAE, KMBC, WDTN, WBAL, WAPT, KITV, WPBF, WNAC Fox64 and several others).

With the spike in new cases of the new variant. All the stations in my market are social distancing again. Hello Brady Bunch boxes!

Eww, Helvetica+crappy 3D glass effects? This is a choice, and a large portion of Gray stations..actually chose it? Gray stations, please invest and either get a quality art department or go out of house.
