  1. Million dollar idea here....to fill in the late night hours. Pillow Talk with Mike Lindell!!!! Not only does it give him a platform to spew his views to an interested audience, it's also the perfect opportunity to sell off all of those pillows that all of the other stores cancelled their orders of! You're welcome, Uncle Perry. This will be ratings gold!!!!

  2. I guess this might bump NewsNation's average viewership from 50K to maybe 60K? Is Charlie Rose and Matt Lauer far behind in joining NewsNation too? NewsNation should give ParamountGlobal and WBD pause in selling the WB to Nexstar.

  3. That announcement was so interesting that I forgot to watch it. And so did pretty much everyone else.

  4. Don’t understand why they can’t make AFG and Ana full-time hosts. They’ve had more than 5 full time hosts in the past, and this would give all the hosts leeway to take on other projects on the side. They can have all six hosts on on the same day too.

  5. I have a feeling that the WGN people knew what they were doing when they put in the “embarrassingly bad soundbite.” FWIW, it’s getting the amount of attention it deserves: a whopping 13 likes. I don’t know if anyone here works at a Nexstar station or knows someone who does, but I’d be curious to know how local newsrooms feel about promoting this garbage. One small problem: that title’s been taken for Jeffrey Toobin’s new show on NewsNation. Harsh joking aside, given that they’re now going after every creep and talking head reject out there, it wouldn’t even shock me if they tried to hire Toobin, or even someone like Matt Lauer, and dump more fuel on this dumpster fire. The real journalists at that network can’t get out of there fast enough.

  6. I'm not liking this CBS News Now on CW Philly at 10PM. I prefer just the local news given by my local newscasters. I know it has some local news, but If I want to see that much national news, I'll watch the evening national news at 6:30PM or CNN/MSNBC.

  7. CBS oughta check in with the brain trust at Macy’s about how well standardization works.

  9. All the evidence is overwhelming at this point. Say goodbye to channel numbers on CBS O&Os this fall.

  10. That's actually a lot more than I thought, at least when based on the number of people who attended games in person. As far as XFL 2.0, that wasn't really their fault. It was an unfortunate result of COVID hitting and shutting everything down indefinitely. Before that, they seemed to have everything going for them. They had managed to attract decent in-person attendance, a seemingly respectable fanbase, and their TV ratings were (if I recall correctly) relatively decent for a startup league. (I'm sure someone will correct me on the ratings.) (AAF, on the other hand, was just bad product. Not the joke that was XFL 1.0, but just lousy football. Plus, IMO, the coverage really felt like the "brokered time deal" that I believe it was... everyone involved in the production seemed to be contractually obligated to laud the greatness of the AAF. It was kind of nauseating.)

  11. It shouldn't be too much of a surprise, as that set design seen elsewhere, while obviously attractive enough and totally serviceable, is over 5 years old.

  13. With Chris and now Megyn now possibly joining NewsNation it's going to see if their ratings will increase. If these moves don't work I don't know what will.
