  1. What the hell is the 9am hour of Good Day New York? Rosanna Scotto just doing a long and passionate argument about how harmful proposed outdoor dining lawsuits will be to her restaurant.

  2. Here’s the thing, we should know when the new graphics will launch if/when CBS News Detroit launches.

  3. The new look's gotta be coming soon. Notice the monitor wall graphic from WCBS this afternoon...

  4. That or a way to repeat hours more easily. Fox Weather sure seems very much in the experimental stage.

  7. From KWGN, to KDVR, and back to KWGN. A homecoming of sorts for Live in Denver.

  10. Morning in America with Adrienne Bankert isn't even on that list! LOL! The WGN Morning News would have higher ratings at this point.

  11. On Patrol: Live did over 1 million viewers on its third outing Friday night 7/29. #1 25-54, 18-34. 340,000 25-54 viewers. On a channel with about 2/3 the subs as NewsNation and on a number of cable systems on a more costly tier. Congrats to Hubbard. Nexstar and NewsNation ARE A JOKE https://twitter.com/OnPatrolFNation/status/1554201511885946882?s=20&t=aS38y6H_lrx3mdXsnYSVUQ

  12. Well, if barely anyone is going to watch it, might as well not pay as much to program it, I guess.

  13. Since we're 5 days away from the new Premier League season, 3 days ago Rebecca Lowe announced that she signed a 6 year extension with NBC. https://www.instagram.com/reel/CgjxpfCgUCe/?igshid=YmMyMTA2M2Y=

  14. We were discussing NewsNation in the Discord the other day, and I went browsing through Nexstar's latest Annual Report to see what mentions of NewsNation they make in it. One thing did jump out at me, in a mention of how much money they've saved cutting syndicated programming and other types of rights (emphasis mine): Dropping syndicated programming and other shows from NewsNation through 2021 saved them $17.5 million dollars. They now control all of that ad inventory, on programming they are paying much less for than what it replaced (hell, dropping syndicated programming very likely paid for the NewsNation programming outright.) This is an important part of the NewsNation strategy, the same strategy the local stations use when they drop an hour of Judge Judy for more local news. The "ratings" might not be as good, but if they're now paying $4,000 an hour to program NewsNation Prime where they were previously paying $8,000 for an hour of Law and Order: Parking Enforcement Unit, they are coming out ahead.

  15. However, I still think that whatever new “O&O package” comes out will be extremely similar to this one, especially now it’s seeing more use on-air and not just online.

  16. KXRM in Colorado Springs had some Twitter problems tonight (the tweets, indeed, the station's account are all gone).

  17. I know many people dislike Chuck Todd. With the show being moved to 1:00 from 4:00, and now moving from cable to streaming, I have to wonder if this is another step that may Todd may eventually leave MTP and NBC News all together.

  18. Also in Charlotte Maureen O'Boyle signed off the anchor desk last Friday night at WBTV. Pleasant, popular, and professional, it will leave a big void to fill. Sorry to see her go.

  19. @Spring Rubberand I are both huge watchers of FOX Weather ever since this channel came out. Yes, I have noticed this as well. Is this the start of live 24/7 weather? I don't think so but the changes are really noticeable. For now, the program guide on The Roku Channel still says the program names and the times it airs.

  20. At the same time as Reelz On Patrol: Live on Friday 7/29, which is live in all time zones, Dan Abrams competing with himself on NewsNation only attracted 7,000 25-54, 50,000 total viewers. Absolutely pathetic. Something Nexstar could have had to promote their lackluster failing network.

  21. Well Kelly Clarkson will have a new home in Pittsburgh. She'll be on WTAE at 3pm when the new season starts September 12th, replacing Ellen. Seen a promo for it during their 5pm news tonight.
