In a place like San Antonio, it's an irony for Sinclair to be marketing the station that way, with it's strong and historic ties to the Hispanic population. Because we all know downstate, stuff is going on at the border that they sure love to cover, along with someone's very important laptop.

I wish we could go back to the show being about meeting the press, as in 'not just one person from NBC News'. It's a new face, but the same tired presentation, production and booking behind her, and she can only do so much. They couldn't even be bothered to blow up the entire episode for actual breaking news because they HAD to air yet another not unique interview with Matt Gaetz and his Dennis the Menace act which was already spoiled to death, and a 'but actually' interview with Nicki Haley nobody asked for. MtP is in 80s-esque nadir where the format needs to be blown up.

Like most affiliates, creative services are no longer a priority. You have one underpaid artist doing all the work for Sinclair San Antonio. You're not going to get great work.

I will never complain how dated CBS21 looks here ever again. And the NBC side of that duopoly is not having that rebrand at all. Those talent opens ... yeesh. -- Matt

Bill has been off Fridays at 11 since I think the summer. Before Mike was promoted he was doing the 11 on Fridays for a while. Bill is there tonight because of the breaking news I’m sure. WNBC had David Ushery on as well

Again, Toni Yates is my preference but it hasn't happened in all these years so it's either her choice or their's.

She is probably Derick Waller's replacement, as his last day was 10/3. He said it was all his decision, as after 6 years of getting up at 2am, he needed a change. Hope to see him at another station soon, as he is an excellent reporter. Lindsay was great at NY1; good pickup by WABC. Always love her New Year's Eve segments with her dad Gary Tuchman on CNN.

Kelly Clarkson is all the way Live (from New York) for season five & Drew Barrymore has more in store for season 4! Both return on October 16.

Bob was about one person, Bob. When the powers that be had the “audacity” to launch subsequent syndicated editions of the show (85, 94), he all but pouted and stamped his feet on air. It was kind of comical in how petty it was. But whatever, Drew does a nice job of working in positive references, and heck, maintains the spay-your-pets plug.
