That's pretty solid. I dig it. Nice use of textures, monitors don't feel over the top, and it has some warmth too it.

WBBM, KPIX, WWJ, and my hometown CBS station WFOR will all give up their 9:00am news to carry the third hour of CBS Mornings, known as CBS Mornings Plus. It would probably only stay at 5pm and maybe catch the 8pm slot on WLNY. I'm curious what it will be like at KDKA, since their news department is strong and has a good audience.

Hello everyone, Happy to bring you one of our most recent episodes of our newscast! This is episode two of the school year, and a HUGE improvement over the first! And here's pictures of our new set, not exactly the plans we had in mind, but I am very happy with it, hope you like it too!

Definitely an upgrade on the set they moved in with.

KNWA had previously used the KFAA calls from 1989 to 2004, adopting its current calls shortly after being sold to Nexstar. Unless otherwise noted, this would mark the first time the same base call letters, disambiguated only by different leading prefix letters (“W” swapped for “K”, or vice versa), were used on a duopoly. Until now, there only have been cases of this occurring within the same station group, but in different markets (the Big Three’s New York and Los Angeles O&Os being a major example), as well as cases like WPKD (a nod to parent CBS O&O KDKA) where the junior partner station’s calls only partially reference those of their duopoly parent.

TEGNA has applied to change KMPX’s calls to KFAA-TV.
