Several weeks after "NBC 15" moved from WPMI to WEAR 3.2, viewers are confused as hell... I wonder why? From the looks of things Sinclair has royally bungled this switch especially if the only way to watch NBC15 is in digital siberia on the main Xfinity service in Mobile (which was WEAR 3.2 while WPMI has always been on channel 11)

Here we are into the second week, and while both parties seem to be in agreement over ESPN, the sticking point is.....ABC. https://awfulannouncing.com/disney/youtube-tv-dispute-over-abc-not-espn.html Unless they're factoring in the sporting events Disney is porting over to them after squandering ABC for over 15 years, ABC seems to be an overvalued asset in it's current state. To be honest, I don't see ABC remaining a broadcast network much longer, and if they do, it's going to be a greatly diminished one with watered-down content for broadcast viewers with the bulk of content being available exclusively to Disney subscribers. WPLG dumping them was the first blow. Next year, negotiations could get ugly as they try and renew with the big groups like Sinclair and Nexstar, especially after the standoff they had earlier over pulling Jimmy Kimmel.

Couldn’t have said it better about CBSN/CBS News 24/7. I quite enjoyed Anne-Marie & Vlad each weekday morning, but now that they have gone to solo anchors and a AR/VR set, outside of ‘The Daily Report’, it’s unwatchable. As I have said before, the busy background is distracting.

I don't know the answer for WSVN, but I worked at a station in the Mountain time zone which would deal with this. 9pm news was pre-taped earlier in the evening for the secondary channel. As soon as football ended on the main channel the news went live with a shrink-to-fit show until the top of the hour when the live 10pm news started.

Yeah, that's definitely true, and it certainly beats going with a domain like WeAreIndyDOTCom or something that reeks of the Nexstar of old.

I think the final logo will change, it's currently used by the network in some of their graphics and it looks like they threw it together at the last minute. As a loyal MSNBC viewer, I'm thrilled that MSNBC is distancing itself from the toxic disgrace known as NBC News, and I know many others who feel the same way. Yes MSNBC is partisan, but there are a lot of people out there who want and need a partisan network right now. We can't trust any mainstream TV news to cover Trump fairly because their owners are worried Trump is going to come after their theme parks or internet business or whatever. By removing all associations with NBC News, this new network can highlight the fact that they are independent and the only television news outlet not scared of death of upsetting the president. NBC News is actually hurting MSNBC's credibility with its audience right now.
