KTRK's "Marvin Zindler: A Final Farewell" special from 2007. Now that Zindler and his longtime colleague Dave Ward are now reunited in heaven, I figured I would post this in the forum in their memories.

The station is expected to begin broadcasting from the new facility in November 2026.

So happy to see Cindy back. I think I'm not alone in saying that I was growing increasingly concerned. Cindy brings so much light and warmth to Channel 2's airwaves and the station is instantly better with her there.

A shameless plug.... I've begun loading various airchecks on to my Youtube channel "TVandStuff". Mostly ones from Cleveland, Columbus, Charleston-Huntington, and a few Youngstown ones with more on the way. I recognize some usernames from this site who have commented and followed my account. I"m in the process of re-uploading my first clips since I found a better converter and a better VCR for my VHS content. I have other tapes in S-VHS as well as DVDs that I'll begin uploading in the coming weeks. These will include newscasts from Panama City and Mobile/Pensacola and random other airchecks from my travels as well from around 2004-2005 up to 2012. Stay tuned!

So, I've been collecting VHS and Betas for over a decade. I always try to snag small-market eBay lots whenever they still exist...and a recent Beta lot was no exception. For OVER A DECADE I have been looking to break the dry spell and digitize some television from this market. A life-long dream has come true, and now TAKE A LOOK AT THIS 1986 NEWS PROMO FOR KXGN GLENDIVE!!!!!! (At 5:58) And to sweeten the deal, here's half of the KUMV Williston Night Report from 9/26/1986. Most of the newscast originates from KFYR Bismarck, and KUMV cuts in during the second half of the newscast, but the recording cuts off before the end... They had a translator in Glendive for decades I have another BIG KXGN surprise coming, stay tuned

Lots of these bug implementations are sloppy and poorly executed. Can we talk about this? If you drop the unnecessary additional boxes behind the logo and just float the calls/number/peacock over the existing noggi, it's a little less terrible and the channel branding could even be slightly larger.

Canada As of this weekend, the last of Global stations' Global 1 helicopters are being grounded for GOOD. These are the final sign offs for those choppers from CITV Edmonton, CICT Calgary, and CHAN Vancouver.
