  2. There are other posts on Ch. 7 board too. He also worked for WCBS2, and prior to moving to NY to work for almost every station (WNBC and PIX are the exceptions) he was at WPRI in Providence where some of us first saw him. Because he worked at so many NY stations, perhaps all further posts should go into the main NY thread?

  3. That's the joke. Like the third place station in a two station race. Dish has always been scum so it's probably Sling TV that keeps them in business.

  5. I said what I said because most average viewers doesn't really pay much attention to certain minor details. With that being said, I also find discussion about news sets interesting. I hope that clears up your confusion with me.

  6. Sinclair is (re)introducing a morning newscast (they cancelled in 2023) on WACH in Columbia... https://tvnewscheck.com/journalism/article/wach-launching-good-day-columbia-new-morning-newscast/ It probably costs a fraction of what the old one did. But still noteworthy for a station group that loves to gut their local news departments in favor of piped in propa....i mean "content"....

  7. Exactly. if she is the face of the show, she should be fired because the show has been hitting record low ratings with her as the "star". I know there are tons of egos in television news, and there are far worse people on TV news than her (Everyone at FOX News, Joe & Mika, Megyn Kelly, etc..) but she is beyond pompous and full of herself despite failing miserably in the ratings at every single show she has hosted. She's one of the biggest ratings failures in television and she thinks she is some mega star. The reason there is so much speculation about her leaving is because she is extremely over paid hosting a horribly rated show while the network she works for is doing massive cost cutting. If CBS Mornings was doing well there wouldn't be all these stories about her future in jeopardy. She then pathetically tries to save her job by posting selfies with FOX News primetime hosts and praising the far right boss who is censoring stories and turning CBS News into a propaganda outlet. She is one of the most well known personalities at CBS News because all the high profile and respected people CBS had have departed the network

  9. Its about time WFLX replaced their horrible fake FOX font logo after 18 years. A much better improvement for WFLX, IMO. Plus, finally using the actual FOX logo for the first time since 2008.

  11. Former longtime FOX 5 anchor Ernie Anastos has died at the age of 82. He also worked at ABC 7 prior to FOX 5 as stated in that thread. As many of us know, he was one of the remaining living legends in New York news, and his storytelling made a big impact on the entire Tri-State area. May he rest in peace.
