It's now been a very sad weekend with the loss of two good news and sports legends; WNYT's Ed Dague and WHTM's Gregg Mace. They'll forever be called dedicated and trustworthy broadcasters in their own prime. Mace was Central Pennsylvania's popular sports director/anchor/reporter when it comes to Central PA's sports of all sorts for over 40 years. And Dague is the Capital Region's most trusted news anchor and reporter. From the halls of justice to everyday people in Albany, NY, breaking news, good news; Dague made a true difference in his 50+ years in to journalism. They'll never be another Gregg Mace and Ed Dague... They're forever and always legends in their prime. Mace and Dague are Central PA and Capital Region institutions, and they'll never be forgotten. Thoughts, prayers, and condolences are with the families of Ed Dague and Gregg Mace. RIP, Gregg and Edward... and Godspeed.

For anybody in the DFW area know that Newsradio 1080 KRLD/105.3FM The Fan no longer carrying the NFL on Westwood One (MNF, TNF, SNF, and NFL Postseason/SuperBowl), except Sports USA which carries the NFL only for KRLD-FM as well as all Dallas Cowboys games. Well, I've found out that all the NFL games on Westwood One are now on KESN-FM (ESPN Dallas 103.3FM). https://radiofacts.com/espn-radio-dallas-kesn-fm-103-3-becomes-official-radio-broadcast-home-of-the-nfl-in-dallas-fort-worth-with-the-addition-of-westwood-ones-prime-time-nfl-package/

TEGNA Broadcasting and Digital General Discussion

I can top that. W*USA needs to drop WUSA9 News all together and bring back "Eyewitness News" or at least naming it (WUSA) 9 Eyewitness News or CBS 9 Eyewitness News. It's just M2C (My 2 Cents).- 3705 replies

You have. WFMJ used that theme as well.

As always, CBS programming moves to KTXA (CBS 11's Sister Station) because of severe weather coverage so that they won't miss their favorite shows.
-
If Norah gets the boot, who do you think should anchor the CBS Evening News? IMO, I would pick... Shepard Smith.
-
We got severe weather in DFW and KDFW, KXAS & KTVT working overtime because of the severe weather coverage. WFAA finished their coverage and Delkus was a no show.

FOX 4 (KDFW) has found its new weekend anchor. It's reporter Blake Hanson. He's been a reporter at the FOX station since 2017. Hanson will take over the weekend newscast for longtime anchor Richard Ray who retired this past May. He'll anchor the 5pm (During next year's MLB season), 6 & 9pm solo on Saturdays and 5 & 9pm with co-anchor Natalie Solis on Sundays.

Everybody, I won't be active on TVNT for the next three weeks due to this year's State Fair of Texas starting tomorrow, but I will be active when I get a day off. And CBS 11 (KTVT) will be at the fair every Friday at 4:00, 4:30, 5:00 & 6:00pm. I'll be posting pictures of the team and BTS while I'm at work.

I don't know if anybody was aware of what's happening in Southeast Texas, but Beaumont's KBMT-TV 12 (12.1 ABC & 12.2 NBC) had to evacuate their studio on the count of high flooding in their studio. They'll be broadcasting at their sister station, KHOU-TV for the time being. https://www.12newsnow.com/article/news/local/12news-kbmt-station-evacuates-flooding/502-3f302131-4911-46f6-a60e-28367ecfd25e

See, this is important to get screened for cancer and get checked. Steve Eagar (KDFW), Dallas Raines (KABC) have beaten prostate cancer because of early detection. And I'm praying for Henry and hopefully be more than a 100% healthy. Let's pray for ones who beaten cancer, and let's pray for the ones are no longer with us who fought cancer, one of them is Gary Papa (WPVI). Please remember, Almost 175,000 men get diagnosed with Prostate Cancer and about 30,000 die every year. Black men have A 60% increased risk. Getting a PSA test means early discovery. If you are 45+ and haven’t had a PSA test, get one. It’s a blood test. Easy. No pain. Do it! Pray for Steve Eagar and for Henry DeCarlo. Hugs and Prayers, Steve and Henry. God Bless.
