Folks, I received a Facebook message from WFAA's Kevin Reece. He told me that my story will be aired next week at 10 on The Update and he'll keep me posted.

Everyone, I'm going to be on WFAA News 8 tomorrow night at 10pm. I've was interviewed by Kevin Reece all afternoon today about my autism, my love to local TV news, etc. So, if you're in the DFW area, please be sure to tune in tomorrow on The Update at 10pm.

WCMH main anchor Mike Jackson is recovering from a stroke. According to the station, it happened last week. The staff was worried last week when he did not show up for work. Police were called and that’s when they when they found Jackson in his home. https://www.nbc4i.com/get-well-mike

Jon Du Pre returns to KTVX (ABC) in Salt Lake City to anchor ABC 4 News at 10:00pm with newcomer Emily Florenz weeknights. It is with a very heavy heart I tell you that Doug Johnson, the longtime Chief Weathercaster at KPRC (NBC) Houston has passed away today. Doug anchored the weather at KPRC for 33 years until his retirement in 1994. Doug along with the late, great Ron Stone were two great KPRC legends throughout the 70s, 80s and 90s until Ron's retirement in 1992. From hurricanes, thunderstorms, hail and hot sunny days... I really hate starting the first week of 2019 with a death of a broadcaster. Long-time WLTX-TV Sports Director Bob Shields has passed away after an 18 month battle of cancer. Shields had covered local High School and College sports in Columbia, SC, market for three decades. Shields survived by his wife and two children. Another long-time anchor is hanging up the mic as of March 1st of next year. Jeff Brady, anchor of KENS 5 Eyewitness News and former anchor at KSAT, WFAA and KTXD is retiring. The "Texas 21" branding comes back to me when KXTX was then known as "Texas 39" in the early-mid 90s and KTXD was also known as "Texas 47".

The TXA21 (KTXA - CBS 11 Sister Station) branding is no more... As of today, TXA21 is now Texas 21.

KTVT airs Wheel at 6:30PM and KTXA airs J! at 5:30 & 6:00PM

Best bet WFOR will pick up Wheel and J!
