Why don't ABC just cancel The View and get it over with, the show is getting old and it's about time the network needs to start something new and fresh.

Why can't CBS sell WWJ/WKBD to another broadcast group? That's the one question everyone's want to know. But, in my opinion; I would wish to see CBS return to WJBK, however 'JBK is stuck like glue with FOX. But I was thinking maybe; just maybe CBS could work on either WPXD 31 or on WADL 38. My two cents.

Sad news out of Santa Barbara today, former KEYT anchor Debby Davison died yesterday after a long battle with breast cancer. Davison worked in Florida and Tucson, AZ then moved to KTLA in Los Angeles where she anchored the News at Ten with the late Hal Fishman from 1980 to 1986. Then she moved to Santa Barbara from KEYT NewsChannel 3 then known as KEY News 3 where Debby anchored from 1990 to her retirement in 2006. Davidon survived by her husband and two sons. A huge tragedy in OKC Sports broadcasting, and I know tomorrow's Father's Day because I know Bob Jr. and Bob Sr. (Father & Son) are reunited together doing sports in heaven. I've just got off the phone with my friend legendary Austin anchor Ron Oliveira and contacted the FOX 7 Newsroom at KTBC today to inform the death of Stephanie Rochon. We here at TVNewsTalk want to offer our condolences to Stephanie's family and her extended family at KTBC FOX 7 Austin and WTVR CBS 6 Richmond, VA. Rochon's contributions to local TV news and to the communities in both Austin, TX and Richmond, VA were amazingly great. And I know all of us who are many fans, viewers who watch Stephanie share our grief with KTBC and WTVR; she'll sadly will be missed. Rest in Peace Stephanie and Godspeed, you're in a better place.
