  2. There's a new main anchor over at Houston's FOX 26 (KRIV). Jonathan Martin will take over the 5:00 & 9:00PM newscasts for FOX 26 News starting May 9th. Martin, who most recently served as a national correspondent for Al Jazeera America. Previously, he was weekend anchor and general assignment reporter for WSMV/Nashville.   7. One more note. Tegna is NOT selling WFAA either. And that goes for all the Tegna stations as well.

  12. The buyouts keep on coming and going. First Austin (KVUE), Houston (KHOU), Minneapolis (KARE), Norfolk (WVEC), Corpus Christi (KIII), Atlanta (WXIA), Grand Rapids (WZZM), now add Louisville (WHAS) to the list. Melissa Swan of Kentuckiana's ABC affiliate is retiring.   13. The buyouts keep on coming. First Austin (KVUE), Houston (KHOU), Minneapolis (KARE), Norfolk (WVEC), and now Corpus Christi (KIII).   14. Turmoil at KVUE (ABC 24). The GM's out, the news director's out, the main anchor is out, now the chief meteorologist. What the hell is going on at KVUE?! They must be cleaning house or what!

  16. There's soon going to be an anchor change in Cleveland's WEWS ABC 5. IT'S NO APRIL FOOL'S JOKE! It's not a done deal, but word is that Sports Director/Anchor Rob Powers of New York's WABC-TV is heading to Cleveland to succeed Chris Flanagan who's contract is not renewed. Powers who was hired at ABC flagship station in New York worked in Ohio before, he was the 5:30PM news anchor and 6 & 11PM sports anchor at WTVG in Toledo.   18. Another main anchor departure, but this time in Austin. Tyler Sieswerda is leaving Austin's KVUE ABC 24 will soon depart ABC affiliate in late May, with plans to to Dallas. That's where his partner CBS News correspondent Manuel Bojorquez, lives.   19. Word from FTVLive that long-time anchor/reporter Murray Feldman of Detroit's WJBK FOX 2 is heading out the door. Reason is because his contract deal will not be renewed and he'll be gone from station in May.
