  1. There's is absolutely no adequate way to describe Rich Fisher... Legendary, Perspective, and Quintessential. And I know Rich and the late, great Bill Bonds are now together anchoring the news up in the good lord above. Rich Fisher's contributions throughout the entire Metro Detroit area were great and respectful. Fisher worked anchored, with THE BEST in Detroit Television at WXYZ, WJBK and WKBD/WWJ bar none. Makupeson, Briscoe, Conway, Bonds, Lewis, Perkins, Margolis, Feldman, Zaret, Edwards, Materre, Hodak, Glover, and many others who worked along side him. They'll never be, I mean this from the heart; they'll never another broadcaster and communicator than Rich Fisher. TVNT would like to offer our extended heartfelt thoughts, prayers and condolences to Rich Fisher's family, and his extended TV family at FOX 2 (WJBK), ABC 7 (WXYZ) and CW 50/CBS 62 (WKBD/WWJ) in this very difficult and emotional time. Rest in Peace, Rich Fisher and Godspeed. Rich Fisher (1949-2017)
  2. FTVLive is reporting that former NBC 5 (KXAS) Anchor/Reporter Deanna Dewberry has been hired by Rochester's 10NBC (WHEC) to be their new main anchor vacated by the retired Janet Lomax. Also, the station also hired former WIS News 10 anchor Charles Molineaux to be their new Nightside Reporter. https://www.ftvlive.com/sqsp-test/2017/3/23/first-on-ftvlive-former-dallas-reporter-headed-to-rochester
  3. Next to KHOU legends like Steve Smith, Marlene McClinton, and the late Sylvan Rodriguez; Greg Hurst (A close personal friend of mine) is Houston news legend in my book. I'll miss him at 5 & 6PM, but we'll always keep in touch on Facebook. As for who succeeding him, expect Len Cannon to be promoted to the 5 and 6PM in addition to his 4 & 10PM duties. This is from July of 1999 when Greg was hired in June to take over for the retired Steve Smith.
  4. Add another departure to the list, but this Des Moines news legend is retiring. http://www.adweek.com/tvspy/des-moines-anchor-announces-retirement/187486
  5. All of us at TVNT are sending out prayers to Pittsburgh's WTAE anchor Kelly Frey who is battling breast cancer. 11. Hard to believe it, but it's been 25 years ago that Washington DC television, and WUSA would never be the same. It was 25 years ago this past Saturday that we lost the legendary Glenn Brenner on January 14, 1992. Let's keep Glenn's memory and legacy alive. Rest in peace Glenn, and Godspeed.

Moore will stepping away from the anchor desk to focusing on investigative reporting 5 days a week. http://www.adweek.com/tvspy/new-orleans-anchor-moves-to-investigative-reporting/184278 Long-time anchor Anne Holt of Nashville's WKRN (ABC) announced on last night newscast she's stepping away from the anchor desk after 36 years at the end of this month. Holt has been at WKRN for 40 years when she joined in 1976 and became primary anchor in 1980. Holt and her co-anchor Bob Mueller had become the longest running anchor team in the history of Tennessee Television for over 30 years since 1984. http://www.adweek.com/tvspy/anne-holt-to-step-away-from-anchor-desk-after-36-years/184259 And on a emotional note, Sports Anchor Kristen Berset of Washington DC's WUSA (CBS) is taking time off from the newscasts to battle her second fight with breast cancer. No woman should ever have to fight this deadly disease, and let's hope there's a cure is right around the corner. TVNT is wishing KB all the best and command her courage and strength to kick cancer's ass second time, and looking forward to seeing you on the news again soon. http://www.wusa9.com/news/local/wusa9s-kristen-berset-battles-cancer-for-second-time/386551897

  20. I grew up with the John Davidson and Tom Bergeron version of H2 in the 80s and 90s, And I started watching reruns of the Marshall Era on GSN. And in my opinion, if Hollywood Squares does gets revived, it won't be the best two out of three format which led to be canceled in '04, it'll be the same format we all come to know. And I sure as hell don't want to see no kardashians on H2, they make me sick, stick with the celebs from TV, Music, and Movies. And if you are a fan on Blackjack, like I said... I would seriously want to see (Las Vegas) GAMBIT revived.
  21. I take back Hollywood Squares. I still want to see Gambit (Martindale) Revived, as well as Card Sharks (But change the name to "Play Your Cards Right") same format like Perry/Eubanks/Rafferty not Bruce Forsyth (But I like his version from the UK).
  22. I would love to see Gambit, Hollywood Squares back on TV, and add one new or revive soap opera.
  23. Denise Dufala's bio removed from the WOIO website.
