KYTX Just got the overhaul today.

Changes in the sports department at KTVT CBS 11. Keith Russell who was hired to replace Babe Laufenberg last year is moved to weekends, while Bill Jones moved to weekdays at six and ten on an interim basis. Now KTVT not only looking for a new chief meteorologist in their weather department, they're now looking for a new sports director/anchor. FOX 32's 5PM Newscast was very good, but its been a long time coming.

WFAA Meteorologist Ashton Altieri is leaving the ABC station after three years at the end of August. According to Carolyn Mungo, News Director at WFAA said that Altieri is leaving to return home to Denver where his wife received a "wonderful promotion". WFLD will FINALLY have evening newscast. On July 5th, WFLD FOX 32 will start a new one-hour weeknight newscast at 5:00pm with FOX 32 News at 5:00. Josh Thomas is out at Tampa Bay's WFLA-TV (NBC). Last year, Thomas was demoted to full time reporter when Rod Carter was moved from mornings to weekend anchor last year and general assignment reporter raised questions on racial diversity. KDNL 5PM News, August 1999 - In The Memory of Patrick Emory.

Sad news to report on this Thursday. It is with a heavy heart and sadness to inform you that legendary news anchor Patrick Emroy has passed away of natural causes in his home in Florida. Emroy worked at KMOV-TV (Then known as KMOX-TV) in the 1970's before moving to KSD (Now KSDK) at the time. He was also main 5 & 10PM anchor at KDNL in the mid-late 90's. Emory worked in Los Angeles, Philadelphia, CNN and Tampa where he worked as morning anchor at WFTS (ABC). Patrick Emory was 73. Sad news coming out of Corpus Christi. Meteorologist Matt Terhune of NBC affiliate KRIS-TV has passed away this morning after a long and courageous battle of brain cancer. Matt leaves behind his beloved wife, Michelle and two adorable children Madeline and Nathan. Matt Terhune was 39 years old.
