  1. WPIX who was not live when I checked in the AM hours is now live in the 12pm hour with Tamsen anchoring coverage of the MTA train derailment.

Checking at 2pm Scott has joined Tamsen and they are still live at 4pm.

  2. Again they have talent in different shirts and ties. How does this happen? :p

In the old and new talent opens Liz Cho seems to be the only anchor showing a bit of cleavage. All the others women are covered up.

If you remember in the old 6pm into there was a bit a bra showing that they had to digitally edit out after the promo had debuted.

  3. Considering that WABC has added new animated transitions to its current graphics package in the last couple of weeks I was not expecting them to change the package.

I noticed they are using a new fast transition graphic with very annoying loud sound effects. Some of them are to fast for me and the sound effects are to loud and not needed.

The one at the start and 6 seconds almost sounds like the FOX News Alert sound effect.

  4. Is there any type of ABC network rule that if network programming is preempted by local programming it can't be broadcast on the stations sub channels?

WCBS airs CBS network programming on WLNY. WNBC airs NBC network programming on 4.2.

WABC seems to never air network programming on 7.2 when WABC is preempting network programming.

  5. This morning & noon WCBS has Steve Overmyer subbing for Chris with Andrea Grymes subbing for Mary.

Andrea Grymes was on with Cindy on the weekend am news.

Has WCBS named Andrea the full time co-anchor for weekend mornings?
