If I'm correct Andrea Grymes was on last weekend, the AM weekdays this week, and weekend and is on Today subbing for Mary.

Noticed that Dana is doing the 6:30pm newscast tonight.

I believe that Cindy was on at 6pm Saturday.

 

According to a reply to a viewer on Instagram Alice Gainer is now the permenat anchor of the 9:00 newscast

 

Alice Gainer and Dick Brennan are featured in a WLNY Promo for the 9pm newscast.

Andrea Grymes has been doing the weekend am news with Cindy.

Rob Powers is doing the news headlines on GMA Saturday.

Michelle was off so Darla Miles subbed on Saturday and Carolina Leid subbed on Sunday.

Lisa Colagrossi is subbing for Lori today.

WCBS sports reporter Steve Overmyer was anchoring with Andrea Grymes this am.

Andrea Grymes and Cindy Hsu are on this weekend again.

It's interesting to have fairly new reporters to the station already subbing as anchors.

Lets hope Lee is in the same jacket and tie. They never fixed the open where his shirt and tie change during the video.

Eye on New York has returned to 6:30am Sunday.

Dana is host.

Andrea Grymes was anchoring with Cindy on the AM newscast.

I've noticed for the 11pm newscast they are back to starting the intro with the end credits and not showing commercials before the intro.

They also sometimes skip the talent intro and go with a breaking news intro "Eyewitness news beings with breaking news.".

Frequently WABC's anchors sound loud and with over modulated distorted audio.

Another annoying thing is when the b-roll video has its audio up to loud and it's almost as loud as the anchor talking.

I'm guessing this is a result of using automation and not having a person mixing the audio?

Brynn Gingras is anchoring News 4 at 7pm. Is there no regular anchor for the 7pm newscast?

FOX5 added a #MYFOXNY hash tag above the logo that does not fit with the graphics layout and is not needed.

They do the same thing for GDNY.

Dana anchored at 6pm and 11pm today.

WABC has been making much better use of the studio since November.

They now use the video wall behind the desk regularly to display graphics.

Anchors do more stand ups from the interview area and other parts of the studio.

They also make use of the touch screen on the wall.

I also noticed a few months ago for the firs time in years they actually did an interview from the interview area on the weekend.

Marci Gonzalez joins ABC as a correspondent for NewsOne, and joins the network from WABC where she was a correspondent.

WPIX made two small changes to the 10pm newscast tonight.

The desk used at 5pm and weekends was replaced with the anchor standing behind a small glass table.

They added the news scroll to the bottom of the screen and all it's doing is promoting how to contact WPIX via WPIX.com, e-mail and social media.

Marci Gonzalez was subbing for Michelle this AM. Toni Yates has been the semi regular sub on weekends.

Why are the anchors on FOX5 always using the scroll wheel on that mouse pad?

I don't notice anchors on the other newscasts doing anything similar.

They continue to use the video all to display graphics.
