Frequently WABC's anchors sound loud and with over modulated distorted audio. Another annoying thing is when the b-roll video has its audio up to loud and it's almost as loud as the anchor talking. I'm guessing this is a result of using automation and not having a person mixing the audio?

Brynn Gingras is anchoring News 4 at 7pm. Is there no regular anchor for the 7pm newscast?

FOX5 added a #MYFOXNY hash tag above the logo that does not fit with the graphics layout and is not needed. They do the same thing for GDNY.

Dana anchored at 6pm and 11pm today.

WABC has been making much better use of the studio since November. They now use the video wall behind the desk regularly to display graphics. Anchors do more stand ups from the interview area and other parts of the studio. They also make use of the touch screen on the wall. I also noticed a few months ago for the firs time in years they actually did an interview from the interview area on the weekend.

WPIX made two small changes to the 10pm newscast tonight. The desk used at 5pm and weekends was replaced with the anchor standing behind a small glass table. They added the news scroll to the bottom of the screen and all it's doing is promoting how to contact WPIX via WPIX.com, e-mail and social media.

Marci Gonzalez was subbing for Michelle this AM. Toni Yates has been the semi regular sub on weekends.

WABC is starting to do live remotes and taped stories in HD. They continue to use the video all to display graphics.

Erika is on with Tom at 12pm today. Though WNBC has not made any official announcement, Erika has moved to 6pm and 11pm weekends. She is on some weekdays at 12pm solo or with Tom. Contessa is on Weekend Today In New York and is on some weekdays solo or with Tom at 12pm.

Contessa was on in the AM with Pat.

WNBC is using a semi transparent bug during syndicated programming.

Who was on this AM? Did they use the table for the whole show? That's how they used to do 4:30am-5am from the old studio using the small clear table. They moved to the desk at 5am. Erika was on at 12pm Monday solo, Tuesday and Wednesday working with Tom. Are they moving her to 12pm M-F? That would make space for Contessa to do Weekend Today In New York with Pat.

WNBC just ran a promo that NY Live is moving to 12:30pm on September 4th. Jane Hanson was not in the promo. Is she leaving the show?
