Noticing that the studio cams and the hand held cam still don't color match.

WPIX has been using a hand held camera that has been the wrong color temp for the 5pm and 6pm newscast. Wonder why they can't fix it or swap cams? Update, at 6:20pm they fixed it.

The only difference I've noticed is they are standing at the news desk.

This week Michelle is on in the AM and Lori is on at 4pm. Why not keep Lori on her regular schedule and have Michelle keep subbing at 4pm?

FOX5 is now using the news scroll area for school closings so the video stays full screen. Wish WNBC would do the same thing.

Linda and Gus are anchoring Weekend Today In New York. Andrea Romero from Telemundo 47 is subbing for Weather.

Does NBC still live stream the O&O station newscasts ? I noticed there is no link on NBCNewYork.com or NBCWashington.com The only link is http://www.nbc.com/live which you have to log into via your TV service provider.

Guess there is no room in the flash cam setup for two anchors. Stacey Bell is not on. Odd they made no mention of the tech problems and just went on as if nothing was wrong. Bruce is in AZ doing the sports reports. Steve is doing weather from the same flash cam where Rob was.

I was just about to post if WNBC was having problems. Is the Today In New York 4am graphic even correct? There is no storm till Sunday evening into Monday AM. The news came on at 11:10pm. They moved Rob to the flash cam in the control room.

I noticed that the camera shots on the 11pm newscast appear to be framed for 16:9 although the SD video is still 4:3 full screen.

I still find it awkward that FOX5 makes their news anchors control their own teleprompter copy and have the laptops sitting on the news desk. Even during in studio reporting the reporters are standing behind a table so they can control the teleprompter. When Anna Gilligan does the entertainment report before 7am she has the controller on her lap. On the 9am hour of GDNY the table has so much clutter with the TelePrompTer controllers and the two laptops. I could understand if it was a small market but in NYC?

FiOS is not on par with News12 yet but they are getting there. The big difference between FiOS1 and News12 is that FiOS1 only does one live newscast at 5pm that is broadcast to all FIOS1 areas. The other FiOS1 newscasts are regional for NJ, Hudson Valey & Long Island and they are recorded than broadcast. When there is breaking news FiOS can go live to cover it.

Jill Nicolini announced on her FB page that she is pregnant. Wonder if Alex goes back to doing traffic while Jill is on leave?

I don't get this new anchor setup either. 5pm Chuck and Sibila 5:30pm Rob and Shiba 6pm Chuck and Sibila They should go back to having the same anchors at 5pm-6pm and different anchors 6pm-6:30pm.
