Today at 6 am the lights were on and the skyline photo was used. At 6:30 am they switched to a live camera background and the lighting around the video wall was turned off.

She's started a new twitter handle @JamieRoth4NY and her bio says " Reporter @NBCNewYork".

WNBC has added lighting above the video walls and between the main video wall and blue side walls. Instead of a live camera view of the city, they are using a photo of the Manhattan skyline for the background with NEWS 4 NEW YORK at the bottom scrolling left to right . You can see the difference in stills from the 1st and 7th.

At 6:57 AM instead of being in the CBS2 studio, Alex is in the CBSN NY studio doing news headlines and traffic update before she anchors on CBSN NY at 7 AM.

Alex said on an Instagram story that she's still doing traffic.

I have not seen Kerry Barrett in recent weeks reporting during Today In New York. Today I noticed on her latest Instagram post someone asked "Are you ever coming back to the morning news". Her response "I'm not unfortunately".

Thursday Janelle Burrell and Kristine Johnson were subbing on the morning newscast. Fridayday Janelle Burrell and Alex Denis were subbing on the morning newscast. They did not do traffic reports on either day.
