NBC did not use their 11 PM weekday anchors after the Superbowl.

Michelle Grossman did weather on the WNBC 11 PM newscast on Friday.

Ken Rosato is anchoring with Michelle tomorrow morning. Rob is off, Toni was subbing today but got sick and had to leave early.

WNBC had more tech problems this morning. At 4:27 AM a commercial break started which included them playing the same News 4 promos twice. They came back for a few seconds with no graphics only for the station to go into another commercial break. At 4:36 AM they did weather and traffic with no on screen graphics. When they came back from commercials at 4:41 AM things were back to normal. I'm guessing this was an issue with the computer system that automates the newscast?

WNBC had an odd audio problem for the first half hour of Today In New York. All you could hear was the talent in studio. There was no music or audio of the reporters on location.The studio talent mics were always on. Also Darlene was not there at 4 AM then showed up with no introduction at 4:17 AM. At 4:25 AM the audio was normal.

I still find it odd that WCBS the only local station that does not do morning traffic reports on holidays.

Andrea Romero from Telemundo 47 was on Saturday morning. Krystal Klei from NBC Philly did the weather Sunday morning.

I've noticed the area they use for cooking and product demo segments is still being used. Either the segments were pre-taped and the anchors are in the same clothing to match that segment or that area of the studio has not been taken down yet. Have they actually moved out of the studio during the remodel?

Saturday Jen Maxfield is subbing anchoring solo at 6pm and 11pm. Sunday it was Jen at 6pm. Jen and Gus at 11pm. Makes me wonder did they ask her if she wanted to be the regular weekend evening anchor?

Thanks. It's not bad when they do use the newsroom except that they always have issues with the audio being over modulated.

They were back in the studio for the 9 AM broadcast.

They are using the newsroom for the 6am newscast and the audio of the anchors is very distorted. There's also a delay when they go from the anchors to Amy doing the forecast where you don't her Amy for a few seconds..

For how long has WPIX been doing a replay of the News at Ten at 1am?

Would be nice if WNBC could put the school closings in the unused news scroll area instead of having to make the video smaller.

Noticed Carolina Leid was anchoring the Saturday AM newscast on FiOS1 News.

They added a second wider camera shot today from the left side of the newsroom desk that gave a view of the anchors at the desk and Bill standing to the right side of the desk after the weather forecast. For 4pm the have returned to the studio.

They are in the newsroom again this am. I noticed the other day when they showed the studio from the camera across the street the 66th street side of the sidewalk was covered up and it appeared some construction was going on.
