Noticed Carolina Leid was anchoring the Saturday AM newscast on FiOS1 News.

They added a second wider camera shot today from the left side of the newsroom desk that gave a view of the anchors at the desk and Bill standing to the right side of the desk after the weather forecast. For 4pm the have returned to the studio.

They are in the newsroom again this am. I noticed the other day when they showed the studio from the camera across the street the 66th street side of the sidewalk was covered up and it appeared some construction was going on.

They are still using the newsroom.

Appears that WABC is having some issues for the 4pm newscast. They are doing it from a smaller studio space possibly the newsroom with only one wide camera.

Diana Williams was subbing for Bill Ritter on Up Close. Not sure when WABC officially announced Bill as the new host?

Raegan Medgie did the AM weather forecasts Saturday through today. Vanessa who has been subbing for Elise Finch has been subbing for Lonnie.

Candace McCowan from WFLA in Tampa has joined WABC as a reporter.

Are any CBS O&O stations formatting newscasts for 16:9?

For the weekday morning newscasts they still use the video wall for the quick forecast at the top of the hour and half hour. They also use it for the traffic reports on the 4's.

Stefan Holt anchoring tonight at 6pm. Jen Maxfield was on yesterday.

Elise Finch was on WCBS this am which had me wondering something. I checked and she confirmed on Twitter in August that she is pregnant.

Is Cindy full-time co-anchor of the weekend am newscasts again?

It's not her. I find in general the audio of the anchors and reporters in studio is has an overall loud and bassy sound and sounds even worse if they do talk louder.

The newscast after the baseball game has a "RECORDED EARLIER" on the top right. There is no current time or temp next to the FOX5 bug.

The top gray bar is no longer always on the screen which is an improvement. It does stay on for some segments.

It looks even worse when nothing else is on the screen.

The white and gray stripes at the top and bottom of the screen from the new graphics are ugly and need to go. Also the lighter gray bar with the social media info is unnecessary. That should be on the right side. It's annoying enough to keep me from watching the newscasts.

The camera shot looked awful when the sun hit the dirty window.
