What is the size of the circle in our default pics? I would like to adjust mines accordingly.
In discussion threads, the avatars (pics) are resized to 90px (pixels) wide on desktop browsers and smaller at more mobile-friendly widths, while the circle itself is added via CSS (specifically, the border-radius property). There doesn't seem to be a limit on the width and height, but there is a maximum file size of 1 MB. I'd say keep it under 200x200 and pretend there's a circle over it that touches all four sides.

All of them seem to serve some part of Virginia so they could likely try to cluster a case of lack of basic community service.
I completely missed that.

I wonder why they singled out those four stations.

Hm. Looks like I'm going to have to update my avatar.
But I like the new, expanded set of emoji!
As a front-end web developer, I'm instinctively distrustful of WYSIWYGs, so I'll need a little time to get used to not having BBCode.
That said, the site looks good!

No support to compete against David and Jeff in a tightest race we've seen.
What kind of support? A newsroom staff? Lots of reporters and correspondents to talk to every night? A big budget? A good chair? Moral support?

That was pathetic. Lester is NOT amazing. Both the viewers need to stop tuning in NBC, and think from Comcast why his ratings are low each year. No more Lester.
So, why do you think his ratings are low?

Carson, has a bright future in this industry... to leave the morning program! His biggest problem is he can't travel back and fourth.
Has he personally told you this?
-
No no no, I'm checking other websites for any buzz happening at low-rated NBC and Carson Daly has to leave Today Show because of prior flights going back-and-forth will be hectic for him.
You've had some bad travel experiences, haven't you?

That was NOT a good choice. NBC needs to end weekend editions of TODAY. Peter needs to stay in Washington to help his wife Alison Starling.
Okay, I'll bite: Why is it not a good choice?

No wonder Fox wants KCPQ/KZJO and KSTU -- that map has a large chunk that's not covered in station logos!

I had a feeling it was coming. Really. Every duopoly that Hearst has, it produces news for its sister. Hearst takes advantage of its duopolies, just like Cox and unlike some other groups.
And where they don't have a duopoly, they put the news on a subchannel, correct?
At least, that's how it is for WCVB and WMUR (which are technically a duopoly but serve different parts of the Boston DMA).

No, it’s the actual name.
Hashtag and all.

KPRC is first in the mornings. (And most of the rest of the day now, too.)
That's a pretty far cry from the days when people on forums were begging NBC to buy the station and make it good again. Good work, KPRC.

Man, don't you hate it when asshats park their big trucks across multiple spaces?

He has to be doing something right if he looks like that at 96.

That's an awful lot of speculation based solely on reports of Sook meeting with Delrahim.

Gotta love the play on the call letters. WDBJ and WZBJ. Haha I love it.
KING and KONG are still the gold standard for that.

Only conflicts:
Orlando (WESH 2/WKCF 18 and WFTV 9/WRDQ 27)
Boston (WCVB 5/WMUR 9 and WFXT 25)
Pittsburgh (WTAE 4 and WPXI 11)
We. know.

Two words: Midterm elections.

Like I said in the shoutbox, that sounds like something that belongs on a .2 subchannel, not on cable.
Or perhaps .24, as in 7.24.
(24.7 would work better, but you take what you can get...)

Well, 1:00pm ET is still morning in the western half of the country.

Here's the thing, there's the "old" WorldNow/Frankly platform that sites like WSMV are on and then there is the updated new platform that other sites like WGCL and AZFamily.com are on. KMOV is also on the updated platform.
All three of those sites may be on the updated platform, but only AZFamily.com has an updated design -- and even then, it's not responsive.

*cough*
Okay, maybe it hasn't been ten years, but the current designs are still several years old. In fact, it looks like WSMV's current site design has been around since at least September of 2009.
-
It's time for a refresh, those Belo graphics have been in use for over 4 years now and they haven't aged that well.
The same could be said for the website.
(Not that Meredith's other stations' sites are much better. Most of them still have the same design they had a decade ago.)

Sinclair Broadcast Group - General Discussion
in Corporate Chat

One could argue that merging with Sinclair despite the regulatory risks would have also been a breach of their fiduciary duty.
