  1. I have confirmation from Brian Reidinger, co-owner of inthegroovemusic, that Fuze Artz does not own inthegroovemusic nor did they create Strive. Strive is a product of ITG and is informally represented by Fuze Artz.
  2. Fake alias is redundant. Just thought you should know.
  3. So why are we going to screw the former Journal stations whom have invested "invested potentially hundreds of thousands of dollars in duratrans, vehicle wraps, signage, etc."? Why not leave everything status quo until a new package is needed group-wide?
  4. It's frustrating too that WTVF will be losing Impact V.6 and their really nice package.
  5. Meanwhile, the Creative Service Asst. Director has moved to Denver at KMGH.
  6. Ugh. Looks very small market.
  7. These graphics look very much like an update to with what World News with Diane Sawyer premiered. If only they bought the original theme back now!
  8. Maybe that's not a knock off and is the KCPQ package by Hothaus. http://www.hothauscreative.com/pages/affiliate/kcpq.html
  9. Could they move to Cleveland or Denver? I'd say Dallas, but they sold off the Belo tower.
  10. Tribune tried this with Eye Opener. It's moronic!
  11. I know, They just desperately need a new logo.
  12. KUSA on the other hand... KTGA? It would be cool if Denver was their headquarter market.
  13. I would not be surprised if a year or two after the split, Tegna goes on another buying spree. There are quite a few stations ripe for the pickin'.
  14. That's it! Because the graphics package is pretty fresh still, neither that nor the web design will change for a few years. I suspect that the stations will continue the partnership with USA Today, as well.
  15. Any idea when the new site will be launched? http://ux.myfoxzone.com isn't active so the new model either hasn't been introduced yet or a new domain is being planned.
  16. That was done because of the upcoming corporate split between the papers and stations.
  17. http://chyronhego.com/support/online_helpdesk/
  18. I may have contended that those were Blue Helio, but I'm not sure anymore. The motion graphics front is particularly blurry.
  19. Do you have any supporting evidence to demonstrate that Hothaus made them? I looked at LinkedIn and while, yes, I see that HotHaus is located in Cleveland, I'm not sure if I can necessarily say that for sure Hothaus made them. Although, I'd suspect that you are right as WXIA is using a Hothaus package for a sales program. And, furthermore, it baffles me why Gannett didn't use Hothaus to begin with instead of that secondary film company they built the package with.
  20. No. This is the in-house promo team.
  21. He left KUSA for WXIA and then came back to Denver at KMGH. Now he's at KYTX. He never retired. I know that he was considering moving his mother up here, but she is in her 90s, so he decided to move back to Tyler and continue working.
  22. Actually, that's deceiving... The work in the 2012 Reel are from packages from GO. The second is the open for KTSP, true, but as I suspect Ruth contracted the design to an outside developer, like Giant Octopus did frequently with MadeInBrain. Further evidence, too: https://vimeo.com/bluehelio
  23. Ok seriously. I want to lay this to rest once and for all:
