Michelle Romano who did quite a bit of on air reporting and fill in traffic and later behind the scenes stuff for News 12 Long Island and Westchester announced that she’s left the station and has a career move announcement coming up in the next few days.. I wonder if there’s any chance she’ll go over to PIX?

I mean Mike Woods does 4:30-10.. is there even much weather in the 9 and 10:00 hours?

Well WNBC is loaded with weather if I’m not mistaken (don’t watch too often) .. my guess would be either FOX 5 or PIX.. I would assume Nick Gregory and Mr G are both old enough to retire? Guess we’ll see soon enough.

The promos here in NY for the gubernatorial debate with WABC and WPVI showed Jim Gardner hosting with Sade Baderinwa.. instead Bryan Taff was hosting. Was this a last minute change or did something happen?

Not saying it was a lie or anything but to pull them live on air? They don’t get the results before they go on? They couldn’t have cut to commercial and come back with an explanation? Cmon…

FOX5 better be careful who they select to be with Rosanna. Her and Greg were untouchable when they were together so their selection will nr interesting. They definitely need a male presence

We have to see.. ALOT of PIX people are commenting on it.. Maybe she’s the new early morning anchor.. I don’t see any other stations that need an anchor unless she’s going to WNBC as an evening anchor. Guess we’ll see.

I wish WCBS would use a ticker like this rather than the one they use. I also don’t think it’s necessary to have a ticker on all newscasts.

I remember when they’d have the weekend morning anchors do both the morning and evening (if I remember right Phil Lipof did it sometimes) interesting tho for the past year and a half they would have the weekend evening anchors solo if the other was off. Guess they’re getting bsck to somewhat normal?

I agree. They would likely do a 4 and 6 team/ 5 and 10 team. Would make the most sense. Judge Judy ends in 2022 I believe, I wonder if WCBS will add a 4pm too?

Did anyone say or ask if he left the station? The question was if anyone knew.. plenty of people take more than a week for vacation but living in a pandemic being out over a week could mean something else too. He usually posts on SM too and has not. That’s why I ask.

More than likely just because it was such a busy news day in NY.

Sam Champion is not on air this morning l, nor was he on this weekend with the rest of the team.. was he on last week at all?

Bianca Peters is anchoring solo for good day wake up.. you would think with all the news this morning they would bring in a co-anchor for her.. I’m going to work but itll interesting to see if/who they bring in for the 7-9 show.

So now they need to fill 2 anchor spots in the morning? Good Day Wake Up and Good Day NY? I could see maybe Robert Moses getting the spot with Bianca.. and a new male with Rosanna.

Lori is a class act. One of the best. She is on at 5,6,10 now and is much more comfortable in that element you can tell. The morning honestly is a little bit different and I feel it’s a little more acceptable to interject some more “insight” or “view” there. But on the evening shows where there are no interviews or anything like that I don’t think it’s acceptable.
