Hopefully they use her for the evening newscasts. I don't understand why they have a sports anchor on good day but not at night

What I mean is if WCBS, WABC or even WNYW wanted to jump on the 4am wagon now might be a good time. People who watch WNBC for the news at 4am may see it's not on and jump ship to one of the other stations if they had news on

This would be a good time for the others to start at 4am. They could use it as a good marketing opportunity

So I just saw a promo for the weekend morning show. It's fairly new and they're using clips from the show with the OLD graphics. Most probably wouldn't notice but to me it looks so sloppy

I have to agree. However I do miss Greg Kelly. One thing I wish they'd stop doing is that "panel" with all of them at 9am on Fridays. I like that they bring them all together but it feels too much like the view.

Personally when Ernie leaves I hope they go back to a traditional newscast. There's way they're surviving with the type of newscast they're doing. The only reason peoplle are probably watching is for Ernie

David Ushery and Pat Battle anchored this past week at 11am and 5.. they are AWESOME together. They should be a permanent team in some form.

You know what would be awesome? When Rosanna decides to leave.. if they brought Steve Bartelstien and put him and Lori as a team. Very unlikely.. actually impossible probably but still cool idea

Am I crazy or did WNBC update their anchor back drop? I never remember them having a giant screen. Didn't it used to be the "window" look? When did they change it?

I wonder if she'll ask for a lighter work load permanently. Maybe the noon and 5 or noon and first at 4.. the hours she works is alot for anyone nevermind someone who's been through everything she has.

Sade is back tonight at 11.. They said she is phasing in her return.

Joe Torres and Michelle Charlesworth anchored this morning.. gotta say wouldn't mind having them as a team again.

They don't take town cars.. as a matter of fact many of them walk. Chris Wragge posts himself in his car each morning on his Insta story. Lonnie Quinn rides his bike. Plus there are many who live in Jersey or in the suburbs. Are the stations really going to pay for a towncar when they're cutting budgets left and right?

Does anyone know if/when Sade will be back? She's had 2 very serious head injuries now, I wonder if she'll be up to coming back at any point. IF not do we see a reshuffling of the anchor teams again? Or does someone just get the 5 and 11 spot?

Not 100% sure but I think he (used to be?) a minister of some sort in addition to news anchor, so he mightve been referring to that.

No Bill Ritter? Wow. Question is does Shirleen celebrate? If she does I'm surprised she doesn't wanna be home being that it's her baby's first Christmas.

Today was Duke Castigliones last day. Does this mean there's not one sports reporter at FOX5 right now? (Hey..uhh Laura Behnke)

5pm backdrop updated too. Guess this is their idea of a new set lol

They finally updated the morning back drop to include the new World Trade Center tower.. wonder if the evening one will be updated as well

Rosanna seems very "off" today. Don't know if it has to due with Matt Lauer (since she knew him very well) But she did mention she heard names at the local news level.. could something come out about Fox5?

It's horrible to have to go to work and have everyone be miserable because of the top. Hoping that this just gets cleared up and no one else has to suffer. Like I said if the top isn't taken down there are ones who will leave. Those behind the scenes who aren't making much could probably jump ship to pretty much anywhere. If they wanted too both Bill Evans and Diana Williams could walk away pretty. I mention them because they are the next ones likely to leave within 5-10 years anyway. Bill Evans is in his late 50s now and has kids almost through college (I think) and is newly remarried. Diana is probably weighing her options with all that's happened in her personal life recently. We just wait and watch now I guess.

Agreed if Edwards and Davis aren't gone I garuntee we see big name talent flee in 2018.

Sade was in a serious car accident that's why she's out. But I really think this will go further leading to firings and more lawsuits. This is just the beginning. Prime example Michelle Charlesworth
