At the time we all couldn't stand Jodi Applegate (mainly cause of the format) but if she was there now with John or Kori I think ratings would be much better. If they want to keep Tamsen so bad move her to Kalas spot and let her do lifestyle reports during the 6-9 newscast. Then put Kaity and Kori at 5.. John and Kala at 6.. John and Kaity at 10

The one part confirmed is Kori moving to 5pm Weeknights.. He posted on facebook

I'm pretty sure WCBS did the same thing with the backdrop to their set.. They used the same scene for the morning and early evening shows..

Huddy said on Twitter that she want to focus on her book, creating a website and possible a tv gig with later hours.. She also wasn't to happy that some sites said Roger Ailes was her godfather.. Saying "my uncle Bruce is my godfather"

In my opinion Taresa Priolo is trying to be the next Rosanna Scotto and it's not working.. Just do your own thing and you'll come off as more genuine.. I'm actually surprised that Huddy is gone/ was let go.. There was always something weird though.. She NEVER filled in on GDNY.. No matter who was out.. I would still like to know the story behind that.

I see your point and we all have our preferences! However I would like them to focus on more hard news in general.. But anyway I guess I'll be the one to start this lol my ideal teams for FOX 5 would be this (assuming Huddy is out): GDWU 4:30-7 A new team.. Maybe Heather Childers from FNC? GDNY: Keep as is.. 5pm Ernie Anastos and Christina Park 6pm Steve Lacy and Kerry Drew 10pm Steve Lacy and Christina Park Weekends: Antwan Lewis and Sharon Crowley Also, add a weekend morning newscast and NEW SET!!

I would like to see the GDWU become more traditional newscast and less "opinion based"(which should also be done with the 7&8am hours of GDNY) As for anchors if this is true I don't really care for any of the options with in however I'd much rather see Kerry Drew then Taresa Priolo.. I'd also like to see Joe Toohey get a shot at anchoring.. Otherwise their best choice would be to look outside for a new team. Also, found this article from a few years back.. While she likely will replace Rob I don't think Laura has been chosen yet.. You would think it would've been mentioned when he left that she would be taking the chair.. Kind of like Rob was announced by Scott.. Plus she's still in the weekend opens.. Idk something just tells me nothing's official

I'm surprised Laura didn't take over immediately.. Another thing to mention the 6pm open is actually a team open with Bill, Liz and Lee.. Not a generic open. And Lee kept using those damn virtual graphics or whatever they're called.

Tomorrow night is Rob Powers last night at WABC.. The 6:00 gave him a goodbye tonight with "more to come tomorrow night"

For the first time in a long time I'm hone at this time on a Saturday night and I have to say I think having news from 5:00-6:30 is overkill. The 5:00 is mostly repeated stories from newscasts during the week. Anyone else feel they could do without?

Does anyone know what kind of time off they get at PIX? I feel like some (especially Linda Church, Suki and John Muller) are off more often then not

Not sure what it was like this week.. But in the past when he anchored CBS Evening News they would have someone fill in at 5.. Then he'd be back for the 11. Wouldn't be shocked if he went over to network by years end.

She has a daughter, I'm sure working evenings took a toll on them (especially weekends) yeah getting up at 2 is hard but now she'll have the whole day with her. Cindy seems very family oriented and this may have been her decision for that reasin

They should take this opportunity to make weekend evenings a 2-anchor team. Cindy was good as a single anchor but not too many are. Hopefully they consider it

Even if they promoted within.. Ive said it once before Brian Conybeare had a strong following at News12.. He'd work well with Andrea or Cindy so he could def be a potential candidate but I guess we'll see what actually happens

Harmon is ruining the station. Garuntee they are in last place by the end of the summer (with the exception of Good Day NY) and even Greg and Rosanna are starting to annoy me, once in a while a skit is ok but not everyday. They need to reevaluate everything at the station and then they can give us quality product

If they want to gain a following for the midday (11 or Noon) they NEED to have a stable anchor team.. Same person or people all 5 days.. The most realistic and probable choice would probably be David Ushery and Kerry Berrett

I could even see if they let the reporters come in after a certain time but to have the anchors record a newscast just because the game ran late is obsurd. I guess they're to worried that the anchors might be to tired to Facebook live the next day or something. Seriously, what is going on there?

News 12 Hudson Valley is doing 12NightSide too.. Very social media oriented type show.. Basically a run down of the day's top stories with comments from social media.. It's nothing crazy but it's pretty cool that news 12 is actually moving into 2016 lol
