Meteorologist Carly Cassady will be departing KDVR.

Apologies if this was already mentioned but Brian Flores has landed at KCNC to take Dominic Garcia's spot on CBS Colorado Mornings. Brian comes from Fox 13 in Seattle and will be anchoring the morning show with Michelle Griego starting tomorrow.

Just announced. KCNC Sports Anchor Michael Spencer will be taking over Jim Benemann's anchor chair when he retires in March.

I barely have any info on this but some sad news from Denver tonight Suzanne McCarroll a former reporter from KCNC has passed away. No word on a cause of death. However she was diagnosed in 2008 with Non- Hodgkin Lymphoma. As for when she passed I have no idea. Here's a tweet from Jim Benemann.

If I remember correctly and if I'm wrong please feel free to back me up but for the last couple of years usually when KCNC does a graphics change they've been doing it starting with the noon newscast. In this case. it's possible that maybe something was supposed to happen this morning and there was a hold up of some sort. That's just my guess.

In Denver. Michelle Griego has returned to KCNC as morning anchor of today. She replaces Britt Moreno who went to KXAN in Austin. Also, it was announced that Ashley Ryan would be replacing Meagan O'Halloran who left KDVR to join Sinclair's The National Desk. Ashley was also supposed to have her first day today on air at KDVR but when I tuned in this morning Shaul Turner was Anchoring with Kirk Yuhnke. I'm not sure if something ended up getting delayed or perhaps maybe Ashley is going to start with the 11 am newscast. Ashley came from KOTV in Tulsa, OK.

KCNC is currently airing CBSN. I did see a scroll at the bottom of the screen that said the CBS Evening News was having technical difficulties please stand by.
