As of this writing, WJMN is now gone from YouTube TV, as-is the generic feed of CBS they had up the past few days, with WZMQ now available on that platform.

Trust me, the fact that she was sent to do her live shot alone doesn't really fall on anyone at the station. It all comes from higher ups who demand fat profit margins on a shoestring budget in an era of declining ad revenue. And manpower is always the easiest thing to cut. This is pretty standard across companies like Gray, Nexstar, etc. especially in smaller markets. And while this has restarted the conversation, nothing is going to change. Hilton Howell or Pat LaPlatney are not going out at night doing their own live shots so they do not care. And unfortunately, people are going to forget about this rather quickly. It's not like the industry learned from the death of Adam Ward and Alison Parker, right? And then the industry wonders why there's a "Great Resignation"...

They posted this job yesterday for a multi media journalist for "WZMQ 19 News" (with an email address for Erie News Now). Hmmm... https://wzmq19.com/multi-media-journalist-mmj/ All indications seem to be WZMQ being the new CBS affiliate.

When did KMSG-LD (the MyNetwork successor to the now religious-KAIL) drop KFSN's 8pm news? Tried to record it tonight and they now have an hour of NewsNet in its place? Maybe the contract ended and the super cheap folks at Cocola opted not to renew. That company is CHEAP.

I don't think that's it. I came across a random Tegna station (KIDY) who blocks Maury on YTTV and no other station I've seen blocks that show.

It's really up to the station to decide what to make available on YTTV and what to block. Most Nexstar and pretty much all Hearst stations are notorious for blocking paid programming from being streamed through YTTV while the same infomercials seen on stations owned by other companies appear just fine. Wish it wasn't so inconsistent...

In before the mods say "no list threads" lol. WOAI-TV just replaced it with Nightly News and an infomercial if anyone cared (NN goes in at 1:06am where an infomercial was already airing, then the infomercial moved to 1:37am where Lily Singh had been). BTW, they already delay Seth Meyers half an hour to air Access Hollywood at 11:37pm. The whole delaying the 11:35pm and 12:35am NBC programs has been done by WOAI going back to the KMOL days (and I believe an artifact of when they cleared UPN programming from 1998-2000).

I'm actually a huge fan of that show. It's very refreshing compared to a most of the (advertorial) non-news stuff local stations tend to put out these days, and very underrated. For as much slack as I give Morris, I'm actually glad they took a chance on Lee and let him and Hayley make a comeback because a lot of other groups wouldn't have. I personally feel like he made an honest mistake. But at the same time, WTVQ is a better fit for the two. WLEX used to be a more lighthearted station under Cordillera - serious when they needed to be but they didn't take themselves too seriously either. The culture of LEX 18 is definitely changing under Scripps into a much more hard news-focused station and I just think it all happened for a reason. And yes, all but one of the Morris stations are currently or will carry it by the fall season. For unknown reasons, WDEF is the lone holdout. Guess they feel an hour and a half of Judge Judy from 4-5:30pm is a better use of time (I'm stunned they finally added a 5:30pm show though. In 2021). Gray's WBKO-DT2 in Bowling Green carries it as well.

Beware of that Steven Walsh guy. He just reposts other people's videos. He has taken IDs from videos posted by The ID Junkie/Junkie's Tape Bin, Ntropolis, Rochester TV Archive, Channel 37, and others hours after those channels have uploaded their own videos. He gives no credit or does not ask prior to reposting other people's captures. I recommend not supporting users like him.

Pretty sure that's not 360. My money is on it being an update of The Rock (because they're using an original Rock cut for weather stings). I guess we'll know soon enough.

Not only can they not pay their employees, they can't even pay for their music. Hearing that "audiojungle" audiomark during the open was very grating.

Thanks for this. I remember someone on RD posting about this station using David Lee for voiceovers a while back and wanted to hear it for myself. The graphics were terrible, that's a Morgan Murphy specialty. However I didn't David Lee was that bad. He worked better than I thought he would. Then again I'm a big fan of his work. He wouldn't be my first choice though (but I'm not the biggest fan of the "voice of god" type read anyway, at least for news). I'm guessing it was just a cost-cutting thing. I'm pretty sure he's their voiceover for Rock 94 1/2 out of Spokane and Spokane likely handles their creative services. The retainer was likely up for Gordon and they decided to use David Lee (who they already had a relationship with) until they could find a cheaper talent (the guy who does KVIA).

Why do people continue to watch this guy? He's such a sleaze, especially after he ripped off my channel (and continues to do so). Anyways, here's a version without the first three seconds cut off, and no Bandicam watermarks either to boot.
