Around here it's optional but every station on earth seems to have some kind of gear...

I wasn't trying to distinguish them.. Except maybe that they do less to address the errors than some...

Ignite isn't a very good system... Errors are way up and they are usually bizarre "how is that possible?!?!" Errors.

Some things he does it's amazing he gets away with...

Of course they could do more faster if they hadn't blown their own stations up first and maybe turn a profit all at the same time.......

They are losing money because they aren't spending the money to make money. They will go under at some point and be forced to sell stuff...

Those other things are downright inexcusable... 5 is coming and 7 doesn't know what to do... WLS is quickly becoming the weakest of the four remaining original circle 7's quality wise... Even the lowly 5th circle 7 can tell the difference between LaQuan McDonald and Ronald McDonald...

And I'm pointing out that it's not a double standard.. It's a visual medium... Looks are everything... That's why they redo the graphics and sets... If it didn't matter they could and would save millions on everything they do to keep it current. Talent is no different... There'd be less need to look half your age if looking good wasn't a qualification...

WXYZ/WMYD in Detroit has hired Rob Parker a Radio/Newspaper columnist... Semi-occasional fill-in Sports anchor at WDIV and contributer to their "Sports Final Edition" show on Sunday nights to anchor sports primarily on "Action News At 10" on WMYD. No doubt he will pop up early and often on Channel 7 as well.... He has been widely lambasted for years for his not so clear delivery and poor TV performance... This on its face would seem to be a very bad hire.
