Whoa! That is kinda strange.

Former KGTV and KNSD reporter Margaret Radford just ppoped up as PR flack during a live shot on KSWB5/69 FOX. She was shilling for The Container Store, a closet and container company. She will be performing all morning on the FOX 5 Morning News... Don't forget to tip your waitress. BTW... That Shally chick on that show is always being caught playing with her phone or the laptop....well Shally it's frigging annoying...as annoying as reporters that check the smartphone during liveshots. Annoying! UPDATE: Margret has aged well, she is rocking the grandma look while showing San Diegoans how to wrap Christmas gifts. The Preggers FOX 5 reporter is all gigglly with Margret. The intro they just called by her first name ...if they made any reference to her past I missed it. As much as I wanted to puke during this fluff piece I must admit...Margret looked very,very happy, and not stressed out like before. She lost a few pounds too.

But to the Sports Director it's New and Innovative... Or God forbid.... "Engaging" (gack!)

Naw, A bombshell would be him leaving to have a sex change and returning as the new weather girl. (KaBoom)

So what really went on with him in Milwaukee???....one of the biggest mysteries of the NewsYear.....

Unusual for a male to be hired for those healthcare spokeshole positions. It's typical for health systems and hospitals to hire local washed out older female anchors. San Diego: Carol LeBeau, Palomar Health care former KGTV Susan Taylor, Scripps Heatlhcare Karina Rusk and Adrienne Laurent, Salinas valley Memorial former KSBW and KGO-TV etc....etc... Not often you see a guy shilling for hc;s.

Just wait till the political ads really kick in. Expect to see some stations shorten the newscast to fit in more ads.

So does the Terrorism Desk have it's own Terrorism Stapler, and a Terrorism roll of tape? Or does the terrorism desk have to borrow the paperclips from the Weather Desk?. Are they always stealing the best chair?????

Somebody has to argue for the money to do that. Remember Tribune just emerged from bankruptcy so it's nice to build up a bunch of cash reserves first. You have to remember there are many, many expenses for running a news dept.

o I guess those political ad dollars won't trickle down that deep in Vegas. Or will all the political ads be in the novellas?

This means he will spend the rest of his life cursing at the tv news and drunk dialing the assignment desk, and other stations assignment desk. Retirement gets easier after you destroy those first few tv's in a drunken and pill fueled rage. Welcome to the real 'otherside'.

Interesting that Scripps may dial back on the SM / Live center portions of that show. They are pushing the hell out of SM in every market...and to revert back to more 'traditional" show may be a bit telling. KPIX/KBCW San Francisco has been running a sm heavy 10pm called "Nightbeat" after about a year it's been a giant flop. Is the social media thing working anywhere on tv news? Can the success of sm formats be based on regional, age or even racial/cultural preferences and incomes? If WXYZ swings back to traditional...and they get a ratings bump...will it be a reality check?

The problem was the show was too high in fiber... It gave everyone the shits. That box is priceless!

Ever since the indictments on her hubby and the step sons troubles ,she has been making statements to the media. So far she is skating...but keep yer mouth shut lady before you become a "named co-conspirator".

Ownership of "San Diegos News Source" is in question... Before Paul Anedregg(Breaking News Crapper) was hired he was using www.sandiegonewssource.com... He took that because of ownership issues with his last domain www.citibeatnews.com. The folks that run citibeat magazines nationwide were miffed. So Paul gets hired by KGTV only to rent or transfer the domain to another junior news ranger named Anthony...well Anthony was not happy with the arrangement with Paul so Anthony bolted from that site over to onscene.tv so he could pay less in stringer fees. The domain went dark a few months ago...but got jump started and paid up this last month. I think he had to buy it back from a squatter. Now that KGTV abandon it I guess nobody may really care. I bet it's never even been registered anywhere for any reason.

The desperation gets worse as they are offering only $100 to watch the morning show. One promo says it's really a "gift card"....but Cha Cha Cimigunga says it's cash. Hell we have local radio stations giving away $1000 every morning. But yup... The ultimate proof your product sucks is to give away money during sweeps.

Team-10 would get lost and be late after reading the ticker. Hey rkolsen... The wx, stocks, and news are all fine on the tickers here also... just the traffic....so far in San Diego on 3 different stations now. Now Maryland??? Are you telling me that you and I are the only people actually reading the tickers ??? I wonder if it's a secret coded communication stream used by the feds to talk to the space people.

Also you can add WMAR to the outdated traffic ticker list. Weather seems to be on point. Amazing... Does it show San Diego road conditions also??? I wonder if these tickers are locked in some kind of "test" mode. Or they lost the instruction book at Scripps Corporate.

They are going to milk every cent out of that set. I wonder why they have never really expanded that place beyond what expanded 25 years ago. You could easily take it to 2 or 3 stories and have killer views and bad-ass outdoor sets.
