With KCRA/KQCA using strive and KTXL using Trust. It's the same situation in Harrisburg but with 2 stations.

 

Trust AKA the Tribune-FOX Theme that's currently used with the Tribune-FOX Graphics Except KCPQ (Modified KTLA Graphics), KSWB and WTIC (In Which both are using Stephen Arnold and 615.)

I have confirmation from Brian Reidinger, co-owner of inthegroovemusic, that Fuze Artz does not own inthegroovemusic nor did they create Strive. Strive is a product of ITG and is informally represented by Fuze Artz.

 

oh yeah. i remember now. we have 3 stations using their packages. KCRA/KQCA and KTXL.

KCRA has been using Random New cuts of strive from FUZEARTZ lately. its been very Wierd for KCRA to have.

 

I think you two are going on very little there. Also, "CBS Paramount" hasn't been a thing since 2009.

 

Oh sorry. its CBS Corporation now.

Probably a tell-tell sign of a possible Time Warner-CBS Merger? We'll see about that one.

 

They Already have the CW. it doesn't matter. (50% Warner Bros, 50% CBS Paramount)

KOVR seem to Copy The Way TNT Shows their graphics during NBA halftime shows at some point with its New 3D Camera Overlay Graphics.

Its too bad WGN's sister station WGN america split almost everything from Chicago and their Network affiliate. back in 1999 i used to get 2 of the same show coming on my local station and the Superstation. now its only copying TBS/TNT. but with the same shows coming on WGN's other sister station KTXL.

People don't seem to Watch WXYZ As much because of WJBK. maybe its their DMA. also whats with their downtown studio? its like what KCRA used to do at the Arden Fair Mall.

WFMY looks like a mixture between KREM And WCBS.

Wait they're still using the Former Hearst mandate theme song for the Schedule graphics?

 

yes this one in particular.

 

WBAL didn't do that to their bugs but for their 65th year on air they ran a promo featuring their studio renderings and every logo they've used.

 

KCRA also made it into a bug for syndicated shows as well. but KCRA still shows the Regular 3 during NBC Promos, As an ID during NBC shows before transitioning to NBC's bug and for some reason they still use a brief jingle of the Hearst "Where The News Comes First" Theme from NewsMedia Central during their TV Schedule Graphics. not sure why.

KCRA added the 60 years thing to their bugs and IDs.

that's the same theme Boston's WLVI used to have when they were "The WB", WB56 now CW56 a Sister station of Boston's NBC affiliate.

Mike and Mike is a must-carry show for ESPN Radio affiliates (a few stations don't carry it, most notably WPEN-FM; ESPN purchases time on WTEL 610 to clear it).

 

So even with the show being on ESPN2, it's always been a cross-promotional tool for ESPN Radio.

I am assuming the slate is used for a station to check and work on the box off air that ABC uses to trigger the local stations logo, time, temp and crawl during GMA. In this case they are testing the time and temperature.

 

VANC refers to vertical ancillary data that is used to transmit any non video information.

 

wow didn't know that. my ABC affiliate here has had alot of problems lately. other times commercials from my local station would sometimes often cut to robin roberts or other reporters rehearsing and then back again. another day was when they showed the color bars with the words "ABC TV NEW YORK HD" followed by a tone and a circle spinning. that pretty much what goes on sometimes where i am where KXTV is.

I found something very unusual this morning. any idea what happened here? some raw ABC news feed my station forgot to switch off.

 

it came on at 11AM and for some reason my local station KXTV News 10 ABC was suppose to switch to their news but i have no idea why they didn't sooner. it was still showing the GMA graphics for some reason. but it also showed the ticker too followed by the theme from World News Tonight.
