  1. I saw that KNDO was lahnching a 4pm and it looks like 1 full hour. What i see is weird looks like Q6 is only doing a 30 minute 4pm with judge Judy on at 4:30p. Unless the schedule was updated from last night

I’m shocked that KNDO doesnt do a 6:30 yet or at least simulcast KHQ sand make it more for the whole KNDO KNDU KHQ

  2. I dont take her long absence from the show as anything. Its the summer months and she has been at Today for over 10 years now I bet her vacation weeks are high now. Plus once September hits no vacation for sometime. Plus  if they were going to move Chuck Todd off of MTP why would they launch MTP Now with Chuck. Wouldnt they just launch  it without the MTP branding?

  4. So maybe late snow is the 1pm eastern anchor and say west coast it’s Aaron since he anchors from 2p-4p eastern and if a station takes 12pm it’s Morgan and Vicky since they anchor 11a-1p eastern

Hmm I'm wondering which studio will "NBC News Daily" be produced in... Will it be a big production like the Today show and Nightly produced from 1A, or it's gonna be small scaled like Early Today produced from 3C (3A Annex)...

Sounds like it will be in the newsroom studio NBC News Now uses since it will be produced by them anyways

  6. On NBC's offical news release it states local NBC stations can add in local news. Think of Ann Curry's old Top Stories News segments on TODAY but it will be your local NBC Noon Anchor doing that.

They launched a 6 pm newscast on weekends late last year as well. In addition it appears they removed the 8pm newscast as well as reduced the weekend morning newscasts by 1 hour airing from 8-11am instead of 7-11am

Correct but on the Q they have been airing bits of the weekend morning show as well.

  8. I always felt this should be a show on MSNBC live from the white house. Hallie Jackson did this a couple of times. It would be a great show to replace Craig Melvin's hour so he can just work on TODAY and other reporting work

They showed Matt from the 1st year of "Where in the World is Matt Lauer" when he went to Egypt as well as clips from 9/11. He was there for 20 years (23 when you count his years as News Anchor before taking over for Bryant). They can't pretend like he never existed. Although if they were going to include Matt, I think it would only be fair to include Ann and even more so Tamron as she was the first black female Co host! I thought for sure they were going to mention that after Bryant was acknowledged for being the 1st black anchor.

Tamron Hall should have been mentioned more in the 3rd hour since she was the first for the 3rd hour not the main 2 hours

  10. Already seems like the “chief Anchor” type role at MSNBC will be split type role. Rachel Maddie for election type nights with Nicolle Wallace thrown in. General news type events such as Bob Dole funeral type events Jose Diaz-Balart.

  11. I like Chris Jansing but I dont see her doing an 11pm newscast nightly. I could see her regaining an hour of MSNBC Reports before that or getting a newscast on NBC News Now. I do miss seeing her daily on tv though.
