  1. I was thinking she would get an overall deal to include the talk moderator/co-host and some CBS News assignment or something. Maybe the CBS News stuff might come later when she is done with Dateline. They did say her reports will go throughout the rest of the year

I feel like the name would be a lot better if they actually did it for every day of the week. You have CBS Sunday Morning and CBS Saturday Morning... have a daily CBS Monday Morning, Tuesday, etc. Something that the other networks don't do, and ties in much better to the existing brand than just CBS Mornings.

Didn’t they do that in early 80s?  What they should do is rename CBS morning news to cbs early morning news and changing cab this morning to cbs morning news. That why it’s closer to their other broadcasts and still ties into Saturday and Sunday mornings

  3. That was Tom llamas. He will be the prime time anchor of NBC News Now and he came from ABC. It wouldn’t have to do with Reno I bet they are burning off vacations since September they normally don’t get vacations since it’s the launch of the fall season

  4. Dan Abrams show is a weekly show and launches Sept 27th a Monday. I am thinking its just going to be a Monday night show at 8pm. On Balance will be Tues-Fri

Some sites are stating Dan Abrams will be a weekly show and others weeknights.

  5. What does their morning and noon opens look like? Noticed lately either they are branded "Today in NY/LA/Bay" or its just "NBC Chicago News".  Is Boston still calling their noon broadcast NBC 10 Boston News Now or something new?

MSNBC seriously has a branding problem with their direct "Newsroom" competing offerings. They keep changing things around and I get that that has to happen to see what works, but these new show names are just not it. I would hope that they're temporary because they're just convoluted. I still don't understand why they need so many different anchors throughout the day, but that's another issue.

My thoughts as well. If anything team some of them up together for a 2 hour block. Like Katy & Ayman they worked great during election week.

  7. It really hasn't been used in name in years. But I still think they could have chosen different names then all FIRST LAST NAMES Reports.  Weekends I think they could have kept Weekends with Alex Witt and something more catchy then Gibson & Reiser Reports.

I bet we will have brand new graphics launching tomorrow. Maybe a redesigned logo for the network that has MSNBC undder the peacock like NBC News does.

  8. Looks like MSNBC Live is gone. Starting tomorrow all shows are now

    Stephanie Ruhle Reports

    Hallie Jackson Reports

    Craig Melvin Reports

    Andrea Mitchell Reports

    Katy Tur Reports

    Ayman Mohyedlin Reports

    Weekends

    Gibson & Reiser Reports

    Alex Witt Reports

    Yasmin Vossoughian Reports

I get renaming name but a little more variety between them would have been better.

Apparently Jonathan Karl is going to co-host this week. Does anyone know who he’s taking over for? As for 20/20 I wonder why Robach and Muir would even want to host that program in addition to their other duties at the network.

I thought I read somewhere George, Martha and Jonathan would start rotating sundays like what jake tapper and dana bash are doing.

20/20 no one has been anchoring that broadcast in moths Especially since they have been doing the 2 hour shows. I wouldn’t be surprised if they slowly remove permanent anchors from 20/20 and whoever is the correspondent for that broadcast anchor kinda like 48 Hours

  10. Maybe or they may move it over to NBC News Now. I hear they may be redoing a studio for them and adding more Live editions. Also NBC’s coverage is titled Decision 2020. Democracy 2020 is Fox

  11. I wonder if they will expand Alex Witt to 3 hours or put David Gura or Richard Lui at the 2pm hour

scratch David Gura is he still with MSNBC/NBC just noticed on this twitter bio that the MSNBC-NBC News reference is gone now.
