KJRH got punked by a fake news story about Colin Kaepernick and Nike.

I just watched WPHL’s 2018 sales reel on Vimeo and it mentioned that their morning news is going 3 hours this fall, as well.

I miss The ‘Lights. It reminded me of a mix of SportsCenter and a better version of NewsFix.

I just checked my Spectrum guide and it’s showing the Midday News at 11am, as well. I’ll wait for confirmation, though, from Uncle Barky or the station itself.

It’s been incredibly painful watching Stelter and Oliver Darcy defend this on Twitter. This is now the second Russia “bombshell” CNN has blown and has refused to admit their mistake and retract the story. And POTUS has capitalized on it: [MEDIA=twitter]1034934675972792320[/MEDIA]

The Sunday morning media shows aren’t even that good anymore. Reliable Sources on CNN has become nonstop apologizing for the media’s mistakes and endless Fox-bashing. MediaBuzz on FNC has become CNN-bashing and defending Trump’s media-bashing. I watched Reliable thinking I would get real insight into how the media works. I was wrong.

There’s not much sports to talk about in Austin outside of the Longhorns and Round Rock Express.

Well, here in Texas, WFAA and KHOU have adopted the social media format for their morning newscasts. KVUE is more traditional.

Who puts Jeopardy at 1pm? Terrible.

I’m sure they’ll continue to dominate the airwaves in Tulsa for years to come. A single newscast time change won’t affect that at all. Then again, KOTV still clears all of CTM, just from 8-10am. Ditto for WFMY. And CBS hasn’t complained about either station, so who knows.

Appears ESPN has a new scoreboard for college football (college and high school football on ESPN usually share the same graphics package).

I thought of ESPNEWS as well.

Speaking of 7-9am news, apparently KXAN canceled that portion of their morning show on KNVA. That came unannounced. The 9pm news is still intact.

Well, this was CBS’s call, not Sinclair’s, so blame them. I suspect KOTV will get their’s soon.
