  1. Longtime WRAL anchor Charlie Gaddy has died.
  2. Update: fired.
  3. Terry Moran put on the shelf at ABC News.
  4. Turns out Strahan is staying on GMA after all, albeit on a reduced schedule.
  5. And WJXT/WCWJ…
  6. In an explosive announcement, CBS is moving their affiliation to WUPA in Atlanta, making it an O&O.
  7. Former KTVT chief meteorologist Scott Padgett is joining WCBS.
  8. Boy, are you gonna hate watching KTLA then. WPLG is the top-rated English-language station in Miami. WJXT has similar success in Jacksonville. They’ll be fine.
  9. The Bolts are the latest team leaving FanDuel for Scripps Sports.
  10. Former Morgan Murphy president/CEO Elizabeth Murphy Burns has passed away at 79.
  11. CBSMV has lost rights to distribute Wheel and J!
  12. Mike Tirico will fill in for Craig Melvin next week.
  13. And their American League cohorts in Tampa are following suit, also with Paramount.
  14. Appears KPRC is using 615’s Icon News.
  15. Appears GMA3 has been replaced with an extension of the 7-9am show, ala Today Third Hour. It’s branded as The Third Hour of GMA.
  16. KAYU, KOKI/KMYT, KFFX, KCYU, KYMA, and WHBQ will be sold to Rincon.
  17. WPLG's 9am is more lighter in nature than the 4:30-7am and other newscasts. I'm betting the new expanded morning newscast will be done by two separate anchor teams, like when they had the 7-9am WSFL newscast. If CBS/Sony allows KTVK to run both shows in primetime...
  18. WPLG has announced their post-ABC news schedule: Weekdays: 4:30-11am noon-1pm 3-7pm 9-11:30pm Weekends: 5-11am 5-7pm 9-9:30pm 11-11:30pm There will also be half-hour sports shows Saturdays at 9:30pm and 11:30pm and a 9:30pm show on Sundays in addition to the existing 11:30pm Sports Sunday.
  19. Hearst doesn’t buy up whole groups. They buy on an individual basis.
  20. I'm betting WSVN newscasts will be mostly simulcasted on 7.2.
  21. In primetime, I see them going the KCAL route with live news from 8-11:35p nightly or make like KDKA+ and have news at 8p and 10-11:35p with a nightly sports show sandwiched in between at 9p.
  22. I assume WPLG wants to become WJXT South with this move.
  23. The Dallas Stars are returning to KDFW/KDFI, with both stations showing two games each in March and April.
  24. The Cardinals will return to OTA TV for the first time since 2010. KMOV and Matrix Midwest will air ten games, with them also airing on FDSN Midwest.
